Abortion Gift Certificates Available at Planned Parenthood

Yes you heard that right! Planned Parenthood is now offering "gift certificates" that may be used for abortions just in time to celebrate the greatest birth of all-time.

In this story from WISH-TV in Indianapolis, the following should be enough to outrage any person that has one ounce of moral fiber in their body:

Some Hoosiers 24-Hour News 8 talked to asked if the gift certificates could be used towards abortions. The answer is yes. But, Planned Parenthood said that's not the purpose of the gift certificates.

Chrystal Struben-Hall, Vice President of Planned Parenthood of Indiana said, "They really are intended for preventative healthcare. We decided not to put
restrictions on the gift certificates so it's for whatever people feel they need the services for most."

There will be follow-up on this story later on.

Urgent Prayer Needed for CPT Ron

Saturday, November 29, 2008

Pray, Pray, Pray, PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A little while ago I had to make the toughest decision of my life. They found a huge blood clot in the main part of Rob's brain. I could either let it be and let him die a peaceful death or I could choose to do an emergency craniotomy on him. However, he has a huge chance of dying on the operating table and if he makes it, he has a huge chance of no quality of life. Rob told me specifically that he does not want to be a vegetable. However, I cannot believe that God got him this far to let him die now or let him live the rest of his life as a vegetable. The neuro dr said that the majority of the outcomes are not good but he has seen some cases where the person made it through fine. He said we may not know how much damage he's suffered for a year or more. After talking it over with his parents and my mom, we felt that we had to give Rob a fighting chance. I decided to have them do the craniotomy. I mean the odds were not good for him to have survived the IED but he did. So he will survive this and he will be cognitively ok. That's what I've got to have faith in. God is working through the dr's. He knows that Rob has 2 little girls that need him very very much. So all I can ask for right now are more prayers than you've ever prayed before.

Rob made it through the surgery
God is good! Rob made it through the surgery and tolerated it very well. They took off the right part of his skull. Because of the different areas of function in the brain, they went in through the front to minimize damage. The way he was positioned, they were able to see all the way to the bottom of the clot. They said when they took off the bone, his brain bulged out. Once they took the clot out, it shrank back down. However, because of the natural body reflex with all the manipulation, it started swelling again. So they finished what they had to do and closed up the brain with his skin. Because of the swelling, the dr said they did have to take "a small amount of brain off" the top to get it closed. What future reprocutions this will have, we won't know for a long while. They also had to insert a catheter to measure his intracranial pressures. They said this is very hard to do especially when the brain is swollen. The dr was able to do it without any difficulties his very first try! They said when Rob left surgery, his pressures (ICP) in his brain were 20. This is very good news. Down the road, they will replace the missing bone with a titanium plate. They took the clot to be cultured to make sure there was no infection in it but the drs feel there wasn't. They feel this clot happened due to an initial injury from the attack that had healed itself to some degree but left a hole for blood to collect. They did say if Rob did develop another clot in his brain they would not go back to surgery because they wouldn't be able to close it up again. I feel like the drs were very happy with how the surgery turned out. They are brutally honest here and the news they gave was good. Obviously we don't know Rob's outcome cognitively. However, I have faith he will be ok. As hard as it was, I prayed while he was in surgery that if Rob would not have any quality of life, then to please take him home. Rob would not want to live the rest of his life in bed. I feel that God got him through this and He will take him all the way. So we have a lot to pray for. We need to pray his pressures stay low, no more clots develop, his infections go away, his legs continue to heal appropriately, and Rob regains his cognitive status. I WILL NOT give up on my husband. He is the most amazing fighter I've ever met in my life. God has bigger and better plans for him. So, again, pray pray pray.

The Obama AWOL Birth Certificate Update

OK. For the recent uninformed visitor that goes by "Barbara", due to "her" inability to do "her" own homework and due to "her" obvious lack of the ability to think for "herself" (could be attributed to "her" self-proclaimed age of 62), the following are the posts, articles and items I have collected since last July. I have them classified as COLB and COLB Forgery. My personal posts are located here and here.

At one point in time, I was under the understanding that the issue of Barack's citizenship was a non-issue and the ensuing witch hunt that was prevalent from last January was an embarrassment. It wasn't until the weekend of the Move America Forward major and huge on-line Troopathon that my original opinion of this issue began to fade. During the time that I thought the issue was an atrocity perpetrated from the nuts on the right, I did not write on the subject but visited other sites and left comments trying to persuade others to drop it and fight on issues that mattered. I never brought up the issue on my Blog Talk Radio shows either.

That all changed on 04 JUL 08 thanks to my friend Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs whom I disagreed with on this issue of the COLB v Birth Certificate. Since that time, using my investigative skills and my Spook training and verbiage analysis training and applications learned, developed and expounded upon for decades, I began to see an underlying current in this issue as it began to unfold. Most missed it. Some still miss it. I bring up that which most have missed or perhaps disregarded was the fact that Barack Hussein Obama can place this whole issue to bed very easily and quickly yet has not done so. The question is why he hasn't to this point.

It could be because of the audacity of people to dare question him. We have all seen the way he reacted (never responded - there is a difference) to anyone questioning him on any issue. It could be his narcissistic and arrogance that has caused him to not place this issue to bed and that has resulted in his inability to appear weak and cornered. He, being the typical American liberal democrat, cannot ever be seen as weak or vulnerable or to take personal responsibility for a bad decision and that bad decision was to drop this issue back in April of 2008.

He could have very well ended all discussions of his natural-born status when John McCain's was ended but he did not. Perhaps because he could not and cannot still.

In April of 2008, Senator McCain's "natural born" citizen status was settled by Senate Resolution 511. I thought it peculiar that Patrick Leahy would make the comment that the term "natural born citizen" was not defined in the Constitution when it clearly is defined. One doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to detect the Constitutional definition when the definition is clearly stated in the Constitution. There is other verbiage in the Resolution that is equally suspect.
[...] Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President; [...]
This statement was added to the Resolution by none other than Barack Hussein Obama. Why?

In the process of my self-admonitions of following for a well crafted scam, I ran across this post recently after Pamela Geller rocked my world back in July.
[...] From Obama own website:

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor
sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship
automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

Question?

How could it expire, if he never had it? [END]
Indeed. My learning and my cravings for knowledge will never end on this subject. In the linked post, I learned several other items of interest and I do believe that honest people will also see the light, as it were. Naturally, the apologists that can never admit to being in error will claim high and mighty blissful ignorance.

That segment linked above has since been scrubbed from Obama's web site and by his own admissions, he is of Kenyan birth. Perhaps that is why the Kenyan Ambassador to the United States has stated in a recent interview that Obama's birthplace in Kenya is well known and why Kenya has proclaimed a National Holiday in honor of one of their own ascending to the Presidency of the United States. I did a special show on the Kenyan connection last week where we aired the interview with the Ambassador. If Obama was not born in Kenya, why then did his Kenyan citizenship expire in 1982 and how did he come to have dual citizenship when Kenya does not recognize or allow dual citizenship other than British?

A shortened portion of that interview can be heard here and the entire interview can be heard here, complete with mundane chit-chat. The first 10 minutes is fairly boring actually.

By the way, the photo to the left is not a viable birth certificate but it is just as valid as the COLB posted around the internet. I find it comical in a sad sense that the COLB that was proven to be a forgery is still being presented as authentic when the original postings as MoveOn, KOS and Obama's web sites have all been removed. There is a pathology to that I am sure.

Barack Obama and his campaign have spent nearly $800K to NOT reveal the authentic vault birth certificate that every American is issued upon birth. The average cost of obtaining a certified copy of the obtainable birth certificate is $10. Why not spend the $10 and put this issue to rest. If he is in fact a natural born citizen, so be it and we can get along fighting his Marxist nonsense and his pathetically vague policies.

The forged COLB being passed off as a birth certificate (a COLB is not a BC) process is detailed here. Thank God for document forensic science.

It is said that there is a vault copy in Hawaii dated 1961 which is type writer written and sealed from public view and is said to have been released on November 15th. That never happened.

The lad to the right is the forgery dude and he has been cornered and caught. This happened on 06 JUL 08 and the Obama Media is oddly silent. He is or was the Obama Spokesman that stated that the forgery was real and was the official birth certificate. Oddly enough, or not, Labolt didn't know that a COLB wasn't a birth certificate as most of the libtards don't know as well. Curious, ain't it? This is merely one more example in a very long and historical list of examples of how the Leftinistra repeat a lie for long periods of time hoping and knowing that the easily led and easily duped with believe a lie when it is heard over and over, over a long period of time.

Always remember this: "If the facts do not support the theory, Destroy the facts!"

Further studies and searching revealed this paper written in 2006: in part, pdf located here:

AMENDING THE NATURAL BORN CITIZEN REQUIREMENT: GLOBALIZATION AS THE IMPETUS AND THE OBSTACLE
SARAH P. HERLIHY

INTRODUCTION
The natural born citizen requirement in Article II of the United States Constitution has been called the “stupidest provision” in the Constitution,1 “undecidedly un-American,”2 “blatantly discriminatory,”3 and the “Constitution’s worst provision.”4 Since Arnold Schwarzenegger’s victory in the California gubernatorial recall election of 2003, commentators and policy-makers have once again started to discuss whether Article II of the United States Constitution should be amended to render naturalized citizens eligible for the presidency.5 Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution defines the eligibility requirements for an individual to become president. Article II provides:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.6
Although these sixty-two words are far from extraordinary, the natural born citizen provision is controversial because it prevents over 12.8 million Americans from being eligible for the presidency.7 In addition to Governor Schwarzenegger, the natural born citizen clause prohibits many other prominent Americans from becoming president, including Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm,8 former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Henry Kissinger, Labor Secretary Elaine Chao,9 and over 700 Medal of Honor Winners.10 Even though many of these individuals have served in high political positions or fought in a war on behalf of America, they are not able to become president simply because they were not born in the United States.11

The natural born citizen clause of the United States Constitution should be repealed for numerous reasons. Limiting presidential eligibility to natural born citizens discriminates against naturalized citizens, is outdated and undemocratic, and incorrectly assumes that birthplace is a proxy for loyalty. The increased globalization of the world continues to make each of these reasons more persuasive. As the world becomes smaller and cultures become more similar through globalization, the natural born citizen clause has increasingly become out of place in the American legal system. However, even though globalization strengthens the case for a Constitutional amendment, many Americans argue against abolishing the requirement. In a recent USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll taken November 19–21, 2004, only 31% of the respondents favored a constitutional amendment to abolish the natural born citizen requirement while 67% opposed such an amendment.12 Although some of the reasons for maintaining the natural born citizen requirement are rational, many of the reasons are based primarily on emotion. Therefore, although globalization is one impetus that should drive Americans to rely on reason and amend the Constitution, this paper argues that common perceptions about globalization ironically will convince Amendment. [...]
Why would the natural born clause be an obstacle?

And, in whose path is the obstacle in the way of? Interesting this is indeed. The answer is in further study and discovery, using the legalese of the Friends of Barack, mainly the law firm of whose employ the author of this piece is beholden to. When did Barack decide to run as President? Wasn't it in 2006, officially? What are the odds that Leftinistra law firms and Leftinistra Chicago lawyers of that law firm, which had/have long historical relationships with Czarbie, suddenly be wanting to "deal with" that damned pesky "natural-born clause"? Hmm?

Be prepared, ladies and gentlemen. A fully socialized and "communal" (globalized) America is on the horizon if we do not rise up to the salvation od our Freedoms so richly threatened by the globalization socialists that dwell among us. And morons say that the List of 45 is crazy. HA!

I find all of this ironic because GWB's critics criticized him for his "Globalization" outreach yet these same critics are themselves Globalists. I guess once more that Globalization is only good when the socialists do it.

Go ahead Barack. Make my day. Show your VAULT birth certificate and stop being a coward, cowering behind your Goon Squads and that forged Certificate of Live Birth fraud and scam. If you have an honest bone in your body, you would end this once and for all. Oh. Wait.

Dear Pastor Ed.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Hope you are safe by Gods grace. The children who are growing wonder your love are conveying their greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Next month 23, 34, 35. We are going to celebrate the Christmas. Our hearts are over joyous when we here the word Christmas. Lord Jesus came on to this earth to heal the sick, to save sinners to bring people to God as a child. We feel it as blessing to remember the day of Christmas.

We have been celebrating our Lords birthday consecutively for many years. We lovingly invite the associate pastors and their congregations, children, and widows from different Places to the celebration. We give them one way fare and Christmas gifts, School Uniforms, books, etc. to the poor Children and sarees, Bed Sheets to Widows. It is a time of great cheer, caring and sharing with others what we have. The associate pastors, heartily take part in the joyous festival with their congregations and our congregation. God is glorified then. It is like a carnival, fiesta. After the worship service on the Christmas Day, we share the love feast – each dinner and enjoy ourselves. It is a heavy budget celebration.

Therefore, this year we are planning to do the same and all the children are getting ready. To do all those things we need so much of financial support. So, if God revives your heart, you please share your love on us through your gifts.

Please pray of us, so that every person would know about our God and his son Jesus Christ. We are all praying for you and your work and your blessed family members. I want to convey our greetings to you whole heartedly.

A Friend's Wife Passed Away

Our good friend Ray's wife passed away early Wednesday and our other good friend prying1 wrote the following poem. We will be having a memorial for Von here in the next few days.

Click on the link and comment on the poem at prying1's site.

CP

Because a friend
has lost his mate
but it is not forever!

There will come a day
When they will be together
And on that day
They will kiss as never before.

Their hearts will be one
As they wished they were
When they lived on earth
But were separated by the wall

The Wall comes tumbling down
No separation on that day
No sin will come between
The love they have for one another

More about Capt. Rob

No skin grafts today

Well, Rob did not get skin grafts today. I guess the plastic surgeon wants to wait until his bili is down more because he's afraid that they won't take otherwise. So, instead they did some more washouts and did a "purse cinch" method on the fasciotomies for now. What they do is thread the tissue and cinch it up to make it smaller. They will do this little by little so when they do skin graft it, they won't have to do as much. They also said his legs are looking really good. They said the other day, the color around one of them looked a little off but today has pinked up. I'm not sure when his next surgery will be. Also when I was with Rob, the ortho dr came in the room and we were talking. The chaplain was also there. The dr asked if Rob was squeezing hands. I explained to him that only a little but sometimes it's pretty hard-esp when he's shivering. I told him that Rob was doing eye commands for me. The dr asked if I could get him to close his eyes for me because he hadn't seen it. So, I told Rob the dr wanted him to close his eyes tight for a few seconds and he did it!!! :) The dr said that was definetly him doing it. ......(Please click on the link above to finish the rest of the story).

Wow. It's hard to believe it was 4 weeks ago today that the attack happened. The days have just blended into eachother. Steps forward. Steps back. Fear, excitement, anxiety, happiness, tears. So many emotions. On this rollercoaster ride of recovery and emotions is easy to lose sight of the fact that it's ONLY BEEN 4 WEEKS. Today Rob had Occupational Therapy. They said he was pretty tired today. They want to work more on consistancy of eye commands and getting him to shrug his shoulders, squeeze fingers, and track fingers. They said they might try to start planning it so that I am in the room when they do the therapy since I am able to get him to do more things. Also this will help so I know what I can do to help him too. Then this afternoon I got to go to the airport and pick up OUR GIRLS!!!!!! I was SO HAPPY to see them. As soon as Julia saw me, she ran to me and gave me a big hug and kiss. And Eva remembered that I was her momma! It is so great having them here. Julia saw also got to see Rob tonight. At first she was a little scared when we first walked into the ICU. But I talked to her and explained things and she went and stood outside his room. Rob heard her and looked out into the hall so he could see her. At first she didn't say much but it didn't take long and she was gowning up and went into the room. She looked at all the pictures and letters in his room and before long she was talking to Rob. One of the first things she said was "Wow. He has hair! When he left he was bald!!" ......... Much To Be Thankful For

Much To Be Thankful For
by Brigitte Gabriel

Dear Ed,

With so much bad news on the economic front the past several weeks, our national Thanksgiving holiday couldn’t be coming soon enough. Because if we look hard enough, in the midst of the bad news, and the real impact on our savings, our retirement plans, and our jobs, we still have a great deal to be thankful for.

Before you read the rest of this email, I encourage you to take just a couple of moments and remind yourself of some of the blessings you enjoy. Whatever you think of – family, friends, faith, your job, your health – doctors tell us it does us a world of good to count our blessings and be thankful for them.

Beyond my personal blessings, I want you to know how thankful I am for you, your devotion to our country, your commitment to make a difference, and your support of ACT! for America. Those who know me well know these are not just words. Rarely does a day pass that I don’t reflect on how much each of our members means to this organization.

It’s one of the reasons I am so optimistic about our winning this fight against Islamofascism. I have met so many of you, and you bring such encouragement to me that I know we will prevail.

Now, here are a couple of exciting news items that we can really be thankful for today!

First, we can be thankful that jurors in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial returned guilty verdicts on all 108 counts! As many of you know, the first trial conducted in September, 2007, ended in a mistrial. Not this time! The message this sends to Islamists who seek to use our charitable giving laws to fund terrorism is loud and clear!

Please Click here to read the Dallas Morning News story.

Second, we can be thankful for the tenacity and legal acumen of our colleague, David Yerushalmi, who has filed suit on behalf of four plaintiffs against the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Mr. Yerushalmi arranged for subpoenas to be served at CAIR’s recent 14th annual banquet.

What’s more, Yerushalmi disclosed yesterday that CAIR is no longer legally allowed to be in operation!

To read the WorldNetDaily story on this new development, please click here.

In less than a week, we have seen a major victory over terrorism financing and legal action against and exposure of CAIR. You and I know we have many challenges ahead of us, but these recent developments are a strong reminder that progress is being made, and for that let’s all be especially thankful today.

May you and yours enjoy a particularly warm and festive Thanksgiving!

Always devoted,

Brigitte

A Thanksgiving Message from PPT President John Lind

We are thankful for ALL YOU DO for
The Presidential Prayer Team

Dear Pastor Ed,

Thank you - from me and all of the staff at The Presidential Prayer Team - for praying with us over the past year, and for your generous gifts of support for this ministry.

This hasn’t been an easy year financially for any of us. The economy is the worst it has been in decades. Joblessness is on the rise nationally. It’s been hard. Yet we still have much to be thankful for, don’t we? We have our friends, our loved ones, a roof over our head, food in the kitchen. Through whatever trials we’ve faced this year, God and His great love has been with us. He has remained faithful as our provider and our Lord.

And now, as we move forward into the holiday season and watch the transition in the White House from President Bush to President-Elect Obama, we can also be thankful for prayer, and how God has moved - and continues to move - as a result of our intercessions. Even now, almost 50,000 people are praying daily through our 77 Days of Prayer for our New President e-mail series we’ve provided. It’s a wonderful and holy thing to see the Lord work through us.

And because of your prayers and support, The Presidential Prayer Team is here to champion prayer for the President, the President-Elect, and our leaders and Troops. Truly, all of us at PPT are so blessed and thankful.

Today, as the Lord leads you, I’d like to give you the opportunity to make a special Thanksgiving Gift to your PPT. Your gift of support will be included in our ongoing Matching Gift offer of $25,000. That means every dollar we raise, over and above our regular operating budget between now and the end of the year, will be DOUBLED up to a total of $25,000!

Whatever you can give, it is greatly appreciated and will be immediately used to provide you with the daily e-mails, updates and tools to equip and enable you to pray. It’s our mission and commitment to you - and it continues because of you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Is There a Constitutional Crisis Brewing?

There are plenty of places to read about the questions on whether President-elect Obama was eligible to be on the ballot because of questions on where he was born.

However, what I want to know and can't seem to find any answer other than there is an upcoming Constitutional Crisis, is What happens if Obama was not eligible to be on the ballot?

As Maggie points out in her piece, the SCOTUS will be discussing this in a few days......

.....I guess we will have to wait and see.

War News Update: What In The World?

Published at Canada Free Press

I haven't done a War News Update in quite a while due to the fervor of the elections quagmire but now that it is almost over, I will begin these updates at least once a week. I do have nearly 700+ dispatches saved up so expect a flurry of data that the media cannot reveal. Seeing that this is Victory In Iraq Day (VI-Day), let us begin with some information that has been widely ignored b y the Defeatocrats and those responsible for the war going as long as it has.

The first order of business will be a report from GrEaT sAtAn'S gIrLfRiEnD with the Military Advisors Manual. This report reveals what I have been espousing for quite some time seeing that I have some experience in this area. It is a worthy report and I agree with it entirely. General David Petraeus is a genius and it is too bad that politics got in the way of his ability to win this war earlier. If his ideas and concepts had been implemented sooner, perhaps the traitors and subversives would have been put in their proper places...in prison. Then again, the folks that could have done that are too cowardly to actually enforce current law.

CIA: Every Major Terror Threat, World Wide, Involves Pakistan
This has been known for quite some time but it wasn't politically expedient to make it known. I am sure Czarbie would know something about this seeing that he did spend quite some time in Pakistan before he had threatened to bomb the hell out of Pakistan during his illegal campaign. Illegal campaign? Yes, that is what I said...the fool isn't a US citizen but that won't stop the enemies of the US from the coronation of the impostor.

Other posts I have done involve the Global Cultural Jihad. England is experiencing this and the United States is on track for Shar'ia Law by 2050. I suppose the Democrats will realize this when they are the first to be put to death by the sword of allah. In accordance with Shar'is Law, the ungodly will die first. The fools that have been "upset" by Prop 8 in California will be the most surprised.

In spite of the alleged Obama victory, Iran has decided not to honor their original "promises". They will continue their Hate America mantra. They are also going to have a meeting. This isn't a big surprise to me seeing that I still have difficulty differentiating the basic democrat party leader from the terrorists and their leaders...they speak the same language - America Sucks.

Steven J. Rosen has a piece up at the American Thinker published on 11/16 entitled, "Did Iran Offer a 'Grand Bargain' in 2003?" Without getting into the details here at this time, we all know where this is going and from where it came. We also know that the premise was born in the bowels of the morons that have prolonged this war for the sake of political expediency and power. It was a farce and a lie then and it is even more so now. Rosen explains it in detail and I have the background of all that nonsense stored right here...have fun.

It is said that OBL is still alive and his busily farming out details of more attacks now that the week-kneed and thin-skinned coward Obama has theoretically won the election. They, the terrorists, know that Czarbie will do nothging to defend this Nation so their plots and plans will move forward in the hopes to reverse their losses in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraqw as well as just about everywhere else.

Vindication. It smells and tastes oh so sweet. For those of you that know me, you will know and remember that I have said this for years: CIA Agent Confirms Al-Qaeda Was In Iraq In 2002. Remember? This is one of the many areas that I have major issues with President Bush. It wasn't politically expedient to make this known. Why? I have no idea. I do know that the war was prolonged because of it. I also know for a fact that the ones that made hay-day over President Bush being silent on this FACT also knew the data was factual but utilized the silence to further their cause of political power. They also rendered aid and comfort to the enemy during that process. Did I not make it widely known that we "watched them flee Afghanistan and flee to the Four Winds"? Yes, I did. I will stress this once again. We watched the enemy flee Afghanistan to Pakistan, Iran and Iraq. We stopped them in Tajikistan. Flopping Aces has more. However, neither Gateway Pundit, Flopping Aces or CQ Politics has what I have in my head and heart. They were not there. I was. Like I said. Vindication is sweet. Eat that you libtard morons. The libtards can also eat their BS about the WMD deal as well.

In other news, Stealth Jihad? It seems as though the Jihad is using the List of 45. Interesting that. Please note that I didn't say "surprising". Then again, we can always consider the Muslim Brotherhood and their ties to CAIR and the List of 45, can't we? The proponents of CAIR and their democrat and RINO sympathizers are useful idiots in the demise of this Nation and the libtards are "Rather" pleased with themselves. I am going to laugh at them as their heads are lopped off by the sword of allah and just might break out the marshmallows to roast over their burning bodies. Then we can focus on killing the Jihadi scum in this nation.

While we are at it, seeing that Obama was having meetings with HAMAS all during his campaign, what if we had an investigation about that and why Syria and Iran have given HAMAS the green light? Surely there is something to that besides Obama being the pathological liar that he is. And, knowing that Obama is such a pathological liar on top of being a narcissist, can we really believe that he will not support the "Saudi" Israeli-Arab peace pact? Or, can we actually know why Iran is now backing off from their previous statements about supporting SOFA? Why on Earth wold they support that Plan now that the weakling Czarbie is set to steal the White House? Isn't it just like a terrorist to act like a democrat and "change their mind" when politically expedient to do so? Democrats and terrorists...same-same.

Oh. And expect the usual "illegal war" crap to come up again. Naturally, thee isn't any evidence to support that BS but that won't stop the pathological liars on the left, will it? Then again, when they are clueless about the Iraq War, why should anyone really give them the attention they lust after?

As our Troops have won in Iraq and are winning in Afghanistan, NATO not withstanding, the Confederate Yankee tells us to brace for a total loss in the future. It is what the Democrats are all about. Then again, when the terrorists declare war on Pakistan, one has to wonder where all of this is going. Obama and the terrorists want to bomb Pakistan...

Whereas the treatment of President Bush has been off the charts and psychotic, at times I think he may have deserved it. He never seemed to take the libtards seriously. I do and don't blame him for it but when it put our troops in danger, he should have at least came out and shamed the libtards out in the open and in public.

Some are saying that Afghanistan is barely winnable and I think that is primarily a NATO result. I have been a long supporter of disbanding NATO due to its ties to the UN. But, that is for another post for a different day.

Just remember to read all I have collected on Victory In Iraq Day right here.

The Higher Plane of Morality of the Enemy

I have been remiss in writing on this but I cannot hold back any longer. Political correctness is a cancer in this nation and that cancer has spread to the USMC. I suppose that we can't risk offending murderous scum Jihadi thugs "over there" or "over here". But, we should just consider ourselves lucky that we have more class than the murdering scum Jihadis and the whores of CAIR and those that worship at the trouser openings of similar Jihadi scum. My bad. The PC Nazis can kiss my ass.

Those that have more class than we do have announced and proclaimed Obama as an apostate - JUST LIKE I HAVE DONE - and I have been called "bad names" for it. I guess you have to have class to get away with it even though it is true. Obama is an apostate Muslim - once born and Islami scum, always an Islami scum whether or not one is apostate or not. It doesn't matter. It is Shar'ia Law. I call that another case of vindication. This data has been made known for a very long time and if Obama is as smart as he claims to be, he would have known this also.

Once again, the fraud Obama claims that he alone will fix all there is to fix by sucking on the loins of the enemy. Simply amazing. After all, our moral standards in the country are so much lower than those of the Islami scum nations. We don't stone our pregnant women...we just murder their babies. We don't hang our gays...we let them subvert the Constitution. We don't "kidnap" those that dissent...we let them tell the enemy our State Secrets. There's more but I am sure you get the point. Crusader Rabbit has more. Czarbie and the morons that "selected" him are so much m ore moral than anyone else...just ask the idiots. They will confirm it. No wonder the Jihadi scum are laughing at us.

The Higher Moral Taliban throw acid at girls that do not conform and now that threat may be coming Stateside. Glad to have the Higher Moral people paying us a visit.

Capt Rob Updates

Latest from Capt Rob Yllescas family blog.

Bili going down, down, down!!
Posted: 23 Nov 2008 09:44 PM CST

Today there is not alot to report. So, let me give you some updates on his labs. The GREAT news is his bili is now 8.9!! :) A little less than 2 weeks ago it was as high as 32! So, his liver is doing what it needs to do. YEAH PRAYERS!!! His other labs are holding steady. His white blood cell count did go up slightly to 20. The nurse said this is to be expected with his fungal infection and the surgeries he has. He feels that the antibiotics he's on will work but it will take awhile. So let's keep praying that the antibiotics will zap the infections!!!! Rob's been holding steady too. He's been able to tell me the last 2 nights with a blink of his eyes that he is pain so I've been able to notify the nurse so they can increase his pain meds. I'm so glad he can do this now so we aren't just guessing. Hopefully tomorrow's surgery will go smoothly and they are able to get done what they want to do. So, that's another thing to put on the prayer list! Rob's nurses have been doing range of motions on him, which DOES NOT make him happy. But, unfortunately, he's going to have to go through some pain now so that in the long run, he doesn't have any problems. I'm super excited because Tuesday the girls are coming. It will have been almost 4 weeks since I last saw them!!! Unfortunately the time will go by WAY TOO FAST, but they will be back over Christmas break. It's been so hard being away from them. I wish I could forsee a time when they will be with us for good, but unfortunately, I have no idea when that will be. There's just no way I can have them here now. I know that where they are at is the best place for them. They have adjusted really well and are doing great. Barb and my mom have been wonderful for me. Like the great moms they are, they are making sure I'm eating and sleeping. Although at times, I have to admit it's a tough decision which I'd rather do more: eat or sleep!!! I've noticed I've been really tired lately. But, I'm taking advantage of them being here to keep Rob company now because it won't be long when it will just be Rob and I and I will have to make sure I'm well rested!!! I will let you know how the surgery goes tomorrow. He's supposed to be the first case and I'm not sure how long the surgery will take. Thanks again for all the thousands of prayers. We need them!!

Cooling blanket back on... :(
Posted: 22 Nov 2008 08:35 PM CST

Just wanted to give an update. Tonight while I was with Rob, his temp went up to 101 so they had to put the cooling blanket back on. I felt so bad for him because it's such a pain (literally) to get it on. They have to roll him back and forth and I know it hurt him. The nurse was very kind though and gave him a big shot of pain medicine before.

Cooling blanket off!
Posted: 22 Nov 2008 08:52 PM CST

Well, one of the good things that happened today is that Rob was able to get his cooling blanket off. His temps have remained stable the past couple of days. It was a vest that was worn around his back and stomach that's he's had since he got here almost 3 weeks ago!! I'm sure it feels great to him without it on. The bad news is he has a fungal infection in his blood. This infection can be EXTREMELY bad. However, since his kidney funtions are back to normal, they are able to give him a really potent dose of antibiotics to help get it cleared up. So, we need LOTS of prayers for this. His white blood cell count is elevated but the doctor thinks it could be from the surgeries since his temps have been ok. It's hard to tell with all the surgeries he's having. So, hopefully these surgeries will end soon!! Rob's been pretty grumpy today. He absolutely hates having other people caring for him. He's always been the type of person who's been extremely self sufficient. I just keep telling him this is only temporary and he'll be able to do his own things soon. I think the most frustrating part of his recovery will be how slow of a process it will be. But, I explained to him that in the whole aspect of our life, this is only a nano-second. It was cute because today the moms made me leave his room to get lunch. Rob, saw me outside his room talking to the nurse before I left and he was NOT HAPPY that I was leaving. The nurse said "Look. He's even pouting his lips!" So, I reassured Rob that as soon as I finished eating, I'd be RIGHT BACK! :) I have to say, it made me feel pretty good. Anyways, Monday is another surgery for his skin grafts. Let's also pray that this goes well and they can get it all done Monday.

The first 2 days...
Since I just started this blog, the following entry will be pretty long, so just bear with me. I want to get you caught up with the events that have happened in the past few days. I will update this site as frequently as I can.Notification: On October 28th, 2008 @ exactly noon, I was sitting on the couch feeding baby Eva when I got a phone call that would change our life forever. It was the Rear Detachment Notification Captain. He informed me that Rob had been injured in Afghanistan. I remember my blood going cold. I truly thought he was joking. In fact, I asked him “Are you serious?” “Yes, I’m serious.” He had me write down a bunch of numbers, but my hand was shaking so bad and my mind was so numb I don’t even remember writing them down. I just wanted to know how bad he was injured. He then told me Rob had been hit by an IED. WHAT?!? That was the last thing I thought would happen. They don’t even have IED’s where he’s at—or at least I thought they didn’t. He then gave me his list of injuries. I just wanted him to quit talking. This couldn’t be happening. I’m not sure if I was in denial or shock but I just wanted him to STOP. I got off the phone and immediately called my friend Ali. She was on her way over already but I told her to get here as quick as she could. I then called my mom. I have never prayed so hard in my life. At this point, I didn’t know much about how Rob was doing. Just that he was in critical condition and at Bagram AirForce Base in Afghanistan. To be honest, I didn’t want to know the extent of Rob’s injuries. I couldn’t deal with knowing. I just needed to process what had happened and focus on getting through the day. Before long, several of my girlfriends were over at the house answering the phones, making arrangements, etc, etc. It absolutely blew my mind how quickly news of Rob spread. Hundreds of people began praying for him. The power of prayer is an amazing thing. I had a friend of ours pick up Julia from school and she took her to play with her kids. I wanted things to calm down around the house before Julia came home. When she did get home, I pulled her into the bedroom and told her that daddy had been hurt but that the doctors were taking very good care of him and that we needed to say lots of prayers for him. I had also decided with my mom that the girls would be going to Nebraska to stay with my sister in law, Angie for awhile. Julia took the news pretty well and was excited to be able to see her cousins. Rob’s commander, LTC Markert, called me a couple of times during the day to give me updates and answer any questions. At about 11:30 pm, he called again. During this conversation, I asked him if one of the doctor’s could call me. He said he would have him call me as soon as he could. October 29th @ 12:30 am: I received a call from the surgeon. He asked me how much detail I wanted. It was at this point I decided that I needed to know EVERYTHING. My imagination was getting the best of me and I needed to know the facts. He said that Rob arrived at Bagram 4 hours after the attack. Now that may seem like a long time, but where Rob was at, he was way out in the middle of nowhere. The medics who were onsite did an absolutely AMAZING job. They are the reason by husband is alive now and I cannot wait to meet them and tell them how grateful I am for what they did to save his life. They are heros to me. By the time I talked with the surgeon, Rob had already had his 3rd surgery. At this time, Rob had a small amount of bleeding in his brain and his intracranial pressure was slightly elevated but had gone down some. When he was found, his abdomen was filled with fluid and had to be opened up to relieve pressure. In surgery, they looked over his abdomen and did not find any internal injuries at that time. He had some bruising on his lungs and a chest tube had been put in, but his oxygen levels were also looking better. He also told me that when Rob arrived he had tourniquets on both lower extremities. Unfortunately his legs were too mangled to save. He had to have his right leg amputated about a hand’s length below the knee and the left leg right at the knee. When I found this out, I wasn’t too shocked. I knew that an IED doesn’t just leave scratches. He also has a fracture in his left femur head at the hip. He said that his blood pressures had stabilized and his heart rate had come down. He said when he first got to them it was very touch and go for awhile but he was doing much better now. He said that all the soldiers held a huge blood drive for Rob. Later that morning, I was notified that Rob was now listed as in stable condition. That was such terrific news! He was going to be flown to Launstuhl, Germany later that day. LTC Markert told me the soldiers that had seen him the day before and saw him today said he looked 100% better. I was not planning on telling Julia yet the extent of Rob’s injuries, but she is just way too smart. When she found out we were going to be staying at Walter Reed for awhile, she said “That means daddy has an injury.” Julia has had the opportunity to know our friend Ryan who had been through a similar experience and she understands what happens at Walter Reed. So, when I told her that, yes, daddy has had an injury, she asked me “Did daddy’s legs get chopped off?” “Yes, baby. Daddy lost his legs but he is still daddy and he loves you very very much.” She teared up a little bit and then asked if daddy would be able to still wrestle with her. I told her that, yes, he will be able to do all of these things with her but it will take a while. She then said “But, mommy, Eva won’t know daddy.” I said “You mean she won’t know him with his legs?” “Yes, mommy.” “Baby, Eva won’t know any different and daddy will love you both just like he did before.” I told her “You know how Ryan has a metal leg? Well, daddy will have 2 metal legs.” Julia scrunched up her face and said “well, I’ll be painting those legs peach.” My oh my. Out of the mouths of babes! When Julia went to school, I called her teacher and made sure she saw the counselor. They said she did great in school. I also withdrew her since she wouldn’t be here for such a long time. Later that day, Rob’s mom, Barb flew in and also my mom, Bev and sister in law Angie arrived. October 30th: I got an update this morning that Rob arrived in Germany. He did great on the flight and needed minimal assistance during the flight. He is still in a medically induced coma to help his body recover and keep his intracranial pressure down in his head. The doctor taking care of Rob called me and said he would be going in to surgery again to clean his wounds, check his abdomen and femur fracture. I had heard earlier about something with his hand that I hadn’t heard before. She said that from the blast, Rob lost his finger right above the middle knuckle but that the rest of the hand looked fine. She said she would call me after his surgery to give me an update. I also asked if I could have someone put the phone up to Rob’s ear so I could talk to him. She said after the surgery she would make that a top priority. A few hours later she called me and said that Rob did great during the surgery. His intracranial pressures remained stable throughout the procedure. He is still on a ventilator but said he is having no problems taking in the oxygen and his O2 sats are remaining good. She did say that they did try to take him off his sedation meds and rub his sternum to get him to react to the painful stimuli but he didn’t. However, she is not overly concerned at this time b/c his brain waves are looking good and until he completely wakes up we won’t be able to assess his neuro status. I was told that at one point yesterday, he did get agitated and moved his arms and legs. This is where prayers really need to come. Rob and I had talked before he deployed that he could handle if he lost limbs but he could not handle being a vegetable. As long as Rob is ROB, we can handle and overcome any other obstacles. So, please continue to pray. This is going to be an extremely long road for Rob, but we know how determined he is and he will perservere. God does not give us more than we can handle and I truly believe this. I’m just so grateful that my husband is here. Things could have been SOOO much worse. I was able to call and talk to Rob. Although he is unconscious, I still feel in my heart that he can hear us. I told him that we love him very much and that Julia can’t wait for him to get better so she can wrestle with him and that in no time we will be out on the boat. Barb also spoke with him and said that everyone is praying for him and thinking about him and want him to get better. The outpour of support has been amazing. Rob is going to have red carpet treatment with all the connections our friends have. Thank you so much to everyone for all their help. A couple of people I want to thank personally are Ali, Nancy, and Kim for going above and beyond with making arrangements for us and contacting doctors and getting updates. There are too many others to mention, but please know you have not gone unnoticed. I’m truly amazed at how many people love and care about us. Today was an extremely difficult day b/c I had to watch as my 7 year old and 9 month old board a plane and head to Nebraska. I have never been away from Eva and Julia and I are extremely close. I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest, but I did it so that they could be taken care while I took care of Rob. They will have so much love there. It’s so hard juggling this tragedy with having small children. But, right now it’s about getting Rob better so that he can wrestle and play with his little girls that are his absolute life. They will come down in a week or so. I know Rob will need to feel them there. I will play it by ear about when they will stay with us in DC. I will update again when I can. We are waiting on information about when/if we will be heading to Germany. Hopefully we can go tomorrow.

Second leg down!!
Today Rob went to surgery bright and early. While he was in surgery, Nebraska Congressman Adrian Smith came and saw us. It was great visiting with him. After he left, Col Wesley came. Col Wesley is an amazing person. He was Rob's old Battalion Commander when Rob deployed out of Ft Riley to Iraq from 2005-2006. Rob has the upmost respect for him. It was so WONDERFUL seeing him and spending time with him. I know it will mean so much to Rob. We got word around 2:30 that Rob was out of surgery. The surgery went REALLY well. They only had to take a tiny amount of bone from Rob's right leg to close it up so he still has his knee. This is HUGE for the prosthetics!!!! We're so excited. They also closed up some more on his left leg. On Monday they will skin graft the areas on his thigh that are still open from the fasciotomies. He received 4 liters of fluid and 2 units of blood. They informed us that he was EXTREMELY swollen, but I didn't realize that they REALLY MEANT EXTREMELY SWOLLEN!!! He looked like the Michelin Man. Poor guy. The sclera of his eyes were even swollen. He could hardly blink. I think he was so swollen today because he was still a little swollen from Wednesday's surgery and between that and the fluids he received today, it really caught up with him. But, after a day or so, it goes down. You could tell he was exhausted so we saw him for a few minutes and let him sleep. We will be back tonight. His sister, Jenny, flew in last night so that was nice seeing him with his eyes open. Last time she was here, he was still unconscious. Hopefully, he'll be back to his normal face by the time she leaves so she can really see how much progress he's made. As I was reading the comments, I noticed someone was concerned about what type of bed he has to prevent bed sores. He has wonderful beds. In fact, Rob gets quite annoyed with them at times. You can tell that he absolutely hates the "pulmonary exercises" he receives from it. It makes the bed shake so that his lungs don't get pneumonia. One day Barb and I couldn't help but giggle because Rob was perfectly fine and then that bed started up and he immediately got the "grumpy Rob face." But we tell him it's for his own good. The last thing he needs is a bad case of pneumonia!!! He also gets rotated back and forth on the bed-which also annoys him. It's like when you're riding in a car and fall asleep and your head falls forward and you wake up suddenly. Well, Rob will just have fallen asleep, and his bed turns him on his side, and it jerks him awake. Poor guy. You just can't sleep in a hospital!! His bed also inflates and deflates air so it's constantly taking pressure off his pressure points. Obviously, you can't 100% prevent bed sores but they're being as careful as they can and doing all they can do prevent these. He's also starting PT-I believe within the next couple of days. Someone else has mentioned the wonderful work the Fisher Homes have done for the military! YES YES YES!!! Mr and Mrs Fisher were wonderful people. I don't know what we and so many others in our situations would do without them. If you have time, you should google them and see all the wonderful things they have done. So, again a good day. Obviously Rob was not as responsive but that's to be expected coming out of a 6 hour surgery. We'll just keep praying and praying and praying........

Testing American Knowledge on Politics, Economics and History: Can You Pass It?

Cross posted from Snoopers Take Our Country Back.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute created a 33 question test on political and economic knowledge and American history. The results were sadly predictable. The following article is a must read - follow the link and read it all:

More than 2,000 people were administered a 33-question test this Spring on American history and our political and economic institutions. Of them, 71 percent -- college and non-college educated alike – got a failing mark, ISI’s Josiah Bunting III said, presenting the study at a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Thursday. “It can truly be said that we are suffering from an epidemic of civic ignorance,” Bunting said. “The extent of failure is pervasive, cutting across every segment of the American population.

“Young Americans failed, but so did the elderly,” said Bunting. “Men and women, rich and poor, liberals and conservatives, Republican and Democratic, white, black, yellow and brown – all were united in their inability to master the basic features of America’s constitutional form of government.”

The overall average score was 49 percent – an “F” on any grading scale, he said. Liberals scored 49 percent, conservatives scored 48 percent. Independents and Republicans scored slightly better than Democrats (52 to 45 percent).
But it gets worse.

Only 32 percent of politicians can actually define what the free-enterprise system is – even though many of them may have campaigned for office pledging to defend it.

College graduates (whose average score was 57 percent), didn’t fare much better than those who didn’t get a college degree (whose average score was 44 percent).

“For each year of college attained, college graduates answered only one more question correctly than their high school counterparts,” Bunting said. “If you can get as much civic education from a library card and newspaper subscription as you can from an expensive college education, then something is terribly wrong with the activities on our campuses.”
The article is incredible in its honesty about where we are in this country intellectually. How a free people can defend what they do not understand is a question afraid to contemplate its answer. Our politicians appear more confused than our citizens, and our college educated may know the words but can't express the meaning behind them. We are like slaves bound by ropes in a cave, watching the shadows flit across the walls and thinking it reality. What we don't know endangers the shadows and the fire alike.

Take The Test Here. Clear your desk of books and cheat notes and test yourself. Use the results to strengthen your weaknesses and refine your knowledge. Only when you know where your knowledge ends and ignorance begins can you start to move forward the bar of competence.

If you're courageous enough, please leave your scores in the comments!

Media Malpractice, continued

A recent left wing troll comment pointed out that 67,000,000 people voted for obama up from the 63,400,000 reported shortly after November 4th. Apparently another 3,600,000 votes were found and counted. Isn't that special?

Using the 67 million number and based upon Zogby's recent poll of obama voters, the following numbers can be expanded.

97.1% High School Graduate or higher or 65,057,000; 55% College Graduates or 38,781,350.

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing) 38,458,000 got this wrong. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and John Murtha are actually Democrats you idiots.

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing) 54,806,000 got this wrong. Duh, what's plagiarism?

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing) 55,342,000 got it wrong.

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing) 59,228,000 got it wrong. How many of those actually work in the coal industry?

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing). 37,587,000 got it wrong.

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes.Only 9,179,000 got this wrong.

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter. Only 4,154,000 got this wrong.

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!! This one made me laugh, 58,223,000 got this wrong.

Apparently these people watch way too much television, in particular the Lame Stream Media. Tina Fey is NOT Sarah Palin and Saturday Night Live is a comedy show last time I checked you morons. LOL. Oh. But wait. Doesn't Tina Fey actually work for one of the major news outlets? Is SNL like CNN? How stupid are you clowns?

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct. 1,608,000 got at least 11 of the 12 questions correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey). 335,000 got all 12 questions correct. What does this tell you about the 97.1% number above? And the questions were all multiple choice.

I don't follow polls but many on the left do as evidenced by all the poll numbers thrown around by them prior to the election. Of the 67,000,000 who voted for obama, I wonder how many of those were people thought to be dead who miraculously came back to life to vote or have a park bench as an address or are in reality dogs and cats registered to vote? Perhaps only your local ACORN voter fraud center or the DNC can answer to those.

Simply amazing to me that 67 million could have elected a total unknown. This admitted to by the Lame Stream Media and a high percentage of those who voted for nobama, apparently, if you follow polls that is. Of course any good leftist will dispute the polls when they don't go their way.

The total population of the United States passed the 300 million mark in 2006. So nearly 24% of the population voted for obama. Astonishing. Just imagine what the number would be if Roe vs Wade had not become law and nearly 50 million babies had not been murdered by your stinking abortion clinics.

I have my own list of questions for readers of this blog. There are 17 total. Thanks Norm.

Without looking the answers up on the net or from some other source, how many can you answer correctly? No cheating.

An estimated 97% of black voters voted for obama and yet we are told that a vote for anybody other than obama is considered racist. Oh really? So I'm a racist....a bigot because I didn't vote for your blaspheming messiah. Will we be made to wear 6 pointed stars on our shirts with "bigot" in the center?

Good luck with your new president elect. Somehow I can't help but shudder at the prospect of 4 years of lies, deception, indoctrination, and intimidation ahead of us aided and abetted by your Lame Stream Media malpractitioners...is that a word?..heh. We've already had 2 years of a Democrat majority in CONgress. Just imagine if they have a filibuster proof majority. God help us.

When your president elect gets done with his "experimentation" perhaps the adults can take over and actually fix the problems plaguing this country. Until then I can only pray your elected Democrats don't screw things up too bad so it doesn't take us decades to correct the inane stupidity of their policies.

And just so you socialist clowns know, the problem with socialism is that you will eventually run out of other peoples money.

Who ya gonna tax when you can't tax anyone anymore? When you have ruined capitalism and run small business owners out of business, where is the money going to come from then? How many big businesses are you going to take over and allow your CONgress Clowns in Action, CCIA, to run into the ground? You already have nearly 50% of the population who don't work and rely on some form of government handout. What are you going to do when that number increases sharply? Slave labor? Concentration camps? Gulags? Reeducation Centers? Involuntary euthanasia for everyone over the age of 50? All of the above?

Good luck with that.
