I was just looking around facebook to see what people are up to, and I noticed something that bothered me just a little: Janet Napolitano has a fan page, and she even has supporters. And here's the part that got me: she has over 3500 supporters listed, even more than we have members.

Can you help us get more membrs than she has supporters?

After all her controversial statements and the way she's displayed more antipathy towards our troops than real terrorists, it shouldn't be a hard sell. Right now, there's a difference of a little over 400 members. Would it be crazy to think that we could pass Janet Napolitano in the next 24 to 48 hours?

I know the news comes fast and furious but another soldier has received the Haditha treatment and has been convicted and sentenced to 25 years for doing his job. I and a host of others have jumped on this as soon as we found out about it and it is going to go viral.

There has been prosecution malfeasance committed by the JAG Corps ... AGAIN ... and we need your help.

The alleged mainstream will not cover this story because the story isn't good enough. A True Patriot has been railroaded and this one slipped under the radar due to Haditha. The circumstances are nearly identical.

Soldiers’ Angels founder Patti Patton‐Bader welcomes the opportunity to connect average Americans with those who protect them. “Fewer people serving in the military means fewer Americans have personal knowledge of the sacrifices and challenges of military life,” she explains. Military spouse and Soldiers’ Angels volunteer Greta Perry agrees that Brothers at War can help the rest of America understand the experience of military personnel and their families during wartime. “No other footage since Bad Voodo’s War has portrayed anything so real and unbiased about the war and the soldiers who serve in it,” she recently wrote after screening the film.

“Jake left [Iraq] with a better understanding of the conditions his brothers lived in and he shared that with us effortlessly on the screen.”

Carol M. Browner was born in December 1955 in Miami, Florida. Both her parents were professors at Miami Dade Community College. In 1977 Browner received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Florida, and two years later she earned a J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law.

In 1980 and 1981, Browner was General Counsel for the Florida House of Representatives Committee on Government Operations. In 1983 she became associate director of the Ralph Nader-founded group Citizen Action in Washington, DC.

From 1986 to 1988, Browner served as chief legislative assistant to Democrat Senator Lawton Chiles of Florida; in this position, she worked to ban offshore oil-drilling near the Florida Keys. In 1989 she became legal counsel for the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.

From 1988 to 1991, Browner was Legislative Director for Senator Al Gore. From 1991-93, she was Florida's Secretary of Environmental Regulation.

After the 1992 presidential election, Browner served as transition director for Vice President-elect Gore. In December 1992, President-elect Bill Clinton named Browner as his choice to head the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); she was confirmed by the Senate on January 21, 1993.

In 1995 Browner used her position at the EPA to lobby environmental groups to oppose the Republican-led Congress, faxing out documents condemning the GOP's regulatory initiatives. In a rare show of political unity, Republicans and Democrats alike impugned Browner, accusing her of violating the Anti-Lobbying Act. A stinging letter to Browner from a bipartisan subcommittee of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee stated: "The concerted EPA actions appear to fit the definition of prohibited grass-roots lobbying ... The prima facie case is strong that some EPA officials may have violated the criminal law."

Browner headed the EPA throughout both terms of the Clinton presidency, making her the longest-serving Administrator in the agency's history. After her EPA tenure, she became a founding member of the Albright Group, a "global strategy" organization headed by former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright

In addition to those organizations ("primary" or "direct" affiliates) that are funded directly by George Soros and his Open Society Institute (OSI), there are also numerous "secondary" or "indirect" affiliates of the Soros network. These include organizations which do not receive direct funding from Soros and OSI, but which are funded by one or more organizations that do. These secondary affiliates also include organizations that work collaboratively or synergistically with Soros-funded groups. Among these secondary affiliates are the following:


Air America Radio: Funded by Democracy Alliance, which is heavily bankrolled by Soros, this radio station was created to advance the cause of the Democratic Party and the political Left.


Catalist: Headed by Soros ally Harold Ickes, this political consultancy seeks "to help progressive organizations realize measurable increases in civic participation and electoral success by building and operating a robust national voter database of every voting-age American." Toward this end, it helps leftist organizations conduct more effective get-out-the-vote drives and targeted political advertising.


Center for Progressive Leadership: Funded by the Soros-bankrolled Democracy Alliance, this anti-capitalist organization is dedicated to training future leftist political leaders.


Media Matters for America: Seeking to "systematically monitor [the media] for conservative misinformation" and to discredit anything that "forwards the conservative agenda," this group, which has intimate ties to Hillary Clinton, works very closely with the Soros-backed Center for American Progress. It is heavily funded by Democracy Alliance, of which Soros is a major financier.


Moving Ideas Network: This coalition of more than 250 leftwing activist groups is a partner organization of the Soros-backed Center for American Progress. Promoting the candidacy of leftwing politicians, the Moving Ideas Network was originally a project of the Soros-backed American Prospect and, as such, received indirect funding from the Open Society Institute. In early 2006, The American Prospect relinquished control of the Moving Ideas Network


New Organizing Institute: Created by the Soros-funded MoveOn.org, this group "trains young, technology-enabled political organizers to work for progressive campaigns and organizations."


Schumann Center for Media and Democracy: PBS broadcaster and Schumann Center President Bill Moyers is a trustee of the Open Society Institute's Board of Directors. The Schumann Center shares many of OSI's agendas.


Service Employees International Union: The current President of SEIU is the former New Leftist Andrew Stern, who sat on the Executive Committee of the Soros-created America Coming Together.


Sierra Club: This organization's Executive Director, Carl Pope, co founded America Coming Together, in whose creation Soros played a major role.


Think Progress: This "project" of the American Progress Action Fund, which is a "sister advocacy organization" of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress and Campus Progress, seeks to transform "progressive ideas into policy through rapid response communications, legislative action, grassroots organizing and advocacy, and partnerships with other progressive leaders throughout the country and the world." Think Progress promotes an agenda identical to that of the left wing of the Democratic Party.


Vote for Change: Coordinated by the political action committee of the Soros-funded MoveOn.org, Vote for Change was a group of 41 musicians and bands that performed concerts in several key election "battleground" states during October 2004, to raise money in support of Democrat John Kerry's presidential bid.


Working Families Party: Created in 1998 to help push the Democratic Party toward the left, this front group for the Soros-funded ACORN functions as a political party that promotes ACORN-friendly candidates.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) to allow a vote on offshore drilling.

Although
the House is in recess, several Republicans on Friday and Monday have
taken to the floor of the chamber to discuss the country’s energy woes
and demand that Pelosi bring back the House and give the GOP an up or
down vote on expanding domestic oil production.

Now MoveOn is planning to get involved.

“Republicans
have been escalating their attacks on [Democratic presidential
candidate Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.)] and the Democrats over oil
drilling, and we need to push back hard,” the group said in an e-mail
to supporters, asking them to come to a 4 p.m. rally at the Capitol.

“Speaker
Pelosi blocked their plan because it won't help lower gas prices—but it
will line the pockets of Big Oil executives, the same people donating
millions of dollars to Republicans,” the e-mail said. “But Republicans
are working hard to make it seem like they're fighting for
cash-strapped commuters—and not the oil companies who wrote their plan.”

The group plans to point to the ties between the GOP and Big Oil.

“We’ve
invited the media, and having a good crowd is critical to show them
that voters don’t want oil industry gimmicks—they want real solutions
like alternative energy to solve our energy crisis,” the e-mail said.

MoveOn
acknowledged that “Republicans have been dominating the debate around
gas prices for weeks with their sham drilling plan,” adding that the
House protest is “getting a lot of press coverage.”
