“Listen to what I am saying,” stated the source during an interview with Doug Hagmann, founder (NEIN). “The Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Assessment that is receiving so much attention is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, and the true patriotic citizens of this country are on the Titanic. This is what bothers me. But is goes far beyond that assessment. There have been very significant changes made over the last few years that redirect the focus and assets of the intelligence community internally. These changes have greatly accelerated under this administration, and the threats have been redefined to include those who used to be patriots. It’s not only chilling but absolutely insulting to God-fearing Americans.”

By now you've probably heard of the shameful actions by Susan Roesgen, the CNN reporter who harrassed attendees at yesterday's Chicago Tea Party. Instead of reporting on the Tea Party, Roesgen picked people out of the crowd to confront and argue with, before signing off her report by labeling the tea party movement as "anti-CNN" and "not family viewing."
Many of you have wondered what you can do to register your outrage, and we here at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee are happy to help.
You can write to Ms. Susan Roesgen and express how you feel via her email address here: susan.roesgen@turner.com
And most importantly, let Susan's boss know how unacceptable it is for a journalist to become a left-wing activist in trying to defame and denounce a legitimate and honest political movement by Americans who are being robbed blind by our government and spent into a debt from which will be unimaginably difficult to ever pay off.
So please also write to Philip Kent, the Chairman & CEO of CNN: phil.kent@turner.com
If you missed it you can see the incident that played out on CNN below:
Please note at an anti-Bush rally following Hurricane Katrina, Roesgen gleefully reported that a costumed protestor mocking Bush as Hitler was a "Bush look alike" and yet yesterday sought to engage in a verbal sparring match with a protestor who declared Obama's recent actions have been fascist -- in ways similar to Hitler.
See the Susan Roesgen hypocrisy: VIEW IT HERE.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - 8:23 PM Eastern: CNN has just shut down Susan Roesgen's email. Instead please email CNN Executive Vice President Ken Jautz at: ken.jautz@cnn.com and CNN Chairman & CEO, Phil Kent at: phil.kent@turner.com

This is possibly the worst piece of "journalism" I have ever witnesses. CNN should be ashamed and should make a public apology over this "reporter's" behavior.
However, I believe that CNN took up for this so-called "journalist" and said she "called it like she saw it".
Please!!!!! She was making news -- not reporting it!
If you don't mind the "grunt speak", Snooper gives his take if you click HERE.

Indianapolis, Indiana, had a huge tea party, today, April 15th, 2009, in protest of the government which is out of control in spending and pretty much all aspects. This was by far, the most peaceful assembly of citizens in the history of Indiana. These eyes never saw one riot, never saw one squirmish, never saw one police officer do much, other than trying to keep their hands warm and smile at the citizens that went by smiling at them. Here are a few of the loyal citizens of Indiana who came out to voice there concerns in public about an abusive government out of control.

If you see Pastor Ed and Annieb in Indianapolis at the Tea Party, give us a shout out. We are looking forward to this event and seeing Thomas Paine (Dr. Basso).
We will be taking pictures for the blog, and trying to get info for our BTR online show, but most of all we plan to enjoy being with hundreds or thousands of other Patriots who believe that the government is out of control.
We the people are taking to the streets and let me encourage all of you to do it in a manner that would be pleasing to God!
Heavenly Father,
Forgive us as a nation for turning away from you. Please bless us as You have so many times in our history. Help us to return to the ways of our Founding Fathers and to rely on You to guide us.
We pray this in the Holy and precious name of Jesus!
Amen
