What a Weekend!

This year was the 40th annual Heritage Days Celebration in our small town. We grow from our normal population of around 3,000 to between 35 and 40,000 people for the weekend.

It is your typical small town festival. Lots of good food, plenty of craft booths, tons of other things to spend your money on, and just an old fashioned good time. This year was may have been the best in my 5 years here.

It has really been great getting to know John Lind of the Presidential Prayer Team. We had been together before, but being his host, we have really been able to spend good quality time. He is one of those "big shots" that acts nothing like what that title usually stands for. It's just been a great weekend.

Here is the thing that I am most proud of about our Heritage Days Event. The weekend begins with a Gospel Music concert on Friday night, and ends with the God & Country Rally on Sunday night.

God is right where He belongs - in the beginning and in the end, which normally means that He is right there in the middle of everything going on!

God Bless America - it's the best there is and I say "Love it or leave it" !!!!

Forrest's Latest Poem is for Charity!

"When in the course of human events"
Declaration of independence July 4, 1776
Battle Cry
O` The depths of wars horrors to others are unknown,
I have no vocabulary to explain; I just sigh and groan,
Soldiers died now their families no more will them see,
They bled, and died O the awesome cost for your liberty.

The IED Blasts caused soldiers brain damage; now blasted insane,
Post Traumatic Stress disorder causes Soldiers to be deranged,
The person I was before the war, that person doesn’t exist anymore,
When im alone I cry rivers, O god my God the unseen horrors of war.
The cries of the children for their father; silent dead in his grave,
Yet he died a hero His humvee exploded in flames. he died very brave,
~Kaboom~ horror settles upon them like a terrible black nightmare,
Numb by the bomb blast. His legs blown off, just too much for him to bear.
From war soldiers come home, and see ghosts that no one else can see,
Traumatic nightmares and flashbacks just will not let them go free,
They rode and they marched and seen comrades blown slam apart,
The depths and horrors of war. Cries of families with a broken heart.
From the Army disabled Soldiers are discharged with such little pay,
Spouse has to quit work and stay home her lost soldier is just not ok,
Black darkened gloom set in the money we have wont make ends meet,
O Will we lose our land, car, and home and have to live on the street?
The Terrors of Wars horrors don’t end they’re still haunting us today,
Lord God let me come home from wars terrors please help me this day,
Please don’t misunderstand me all this is a pleasant misery I do endure,
a great honor to sacrifice for my country to make freedom more sure.
Please donate to “independence fund” for soldiers and there families show them you care.
The wounded and dead soldier’s families are in poverty depression, and despair.
Before they went to war and fought for your freedom they had plenty and not one need.
This brain injured soldier begs your help for wounded and dead soldier’s families.

Poem written by Forrest Langley to raise funds for the wounded and soldiers who have fallen families. This is an honor and a privilege.

When I was discharged from the Army they only gave me a 40% disability rating even though I had Traumatic Brain Injury, ptsd along with many other ailments. That gave us 673.00 dollars a month. My wife had to quit her job to take care of me. I have 2 children to take care of. We spent the savings we had and almost lost our home, car, land, and most everything.
They’re thousands upon thousands of soldiers in this shape.
Please I beg you to help the wounded, and there families. I became suicidal because of all the things that had come upon me at once. Your soldiers are bleeding and dying upon the battlefield for you. It is your duty to help them bear the burden as they bore the burden of war for you.
May God bless America
I have wrote a lot of other poems if you like this or are interested in other write me at.
Not one dime of this money goes to me. I don’t need it. (Forrest)

The Last Straw; Says Picture Caption on FoxNews.com

Catholic Group Urges Boycott of Miller Brewing Co. Over San Francisco Fair Sponsorship

Thursday, September 27, 2007

The nation’s largest Catholic civil rights group urged a national boycott of Miller Brewing Co. Thursday for its sponsorship of a San Francisco street fair.

The Catholic League is upset over Miller's ties to a fair promoted in an ad that shows semi-nude men and women in bondage at a table with sex toys portraying Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" painting.

"Miller is sponsoring an incredibly outrageous and palpably anti-Christian event," said Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League.

The 2007 Folsom Street Fair, which organizers promote as "fairgrounds filled with people in their most outrageous leather/rubber/fetish attire" is planned for Sunday on Folsom Street in San Francisco.

The fair will benefit a group of local charities, including an organization called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, who call themselves "queer nuns."

"Want to put your cute leather outfit to good use and serve the community at the same time?" according to a promotion on the group's Web site.

Miller wants its logo removed from the poster, according to a statement in the New York Sun.

"While Miller has supported the Folsom Street Fair for several years, we take exception to the poster the organizing committee developed this year. We understand some individuals may find the imagery offensive," said Julian Green, a Miller spokeswoman in a statement.

Click here to read a report in the New York Sun.

Donohue called Miller's response a "lame statement of regret."

"Miller leaves us with no options," Donohue said.

Father Jonathan Morris, a Roman Catholic priest based in Rome, said the group is not nuns and wants to promote gay rights.

"What they are doing is trying to make a mockery of religion," Morris, a FOX News analyst, said.

Morris called the ad "blasphemy."

"When you take something that is sacred to somebody, you turn it into the profane and you use it for your own good," Morris said. "That's bad for society."

OK, for reasons of my own, I normally stay away from topics such as this on my blog. However, as the picture caption says, it really is "The Last Straw". This is one of the most despicable pictures I have ever seen in my life!

I think most of you know that I'm not Catholic, but that isn't the point here. Those of us who believe in the God of the Bible and His Son, Jesus Christ can not just sit by and let these gross perversions of what we believe in to be blasphemed and say or do nothing about it. Our differences of opinion where it comes to theology MUST take a back seat to showing our love for God and all He stands for.

And to be quite honest, I'm sick to death of these extremists cowering behind their 1st Amendment, Free Speech rights. Not just groups such as this, but all the cowards who use Free Speech to spew their venom to the world.

Now, before my detractors say I'm against Free Speech, I didn't say that. I said I am sick and tired of them "using" their rights. That goes for "wackos" both far right and far left.

People - God is not going to continue to bless a country that allows blasphemy against Him. It's plain and simple.

Definition of a Veteran

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

- Author Unknown

My friend Lew sent this to me Wednesday by email. Thanks Lew!

Those of us who have had the privilege of serving our country in the military understand what these words really mean. I served in the United States Army from 1980 - 1984.

If you check your history books, you will find that Grenada took place during the time I served. I was a Sergeant with the 311th MI Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

We were on alert to go to Grenada, but the conflict ended so fast that we never boarded the planes. Therefore, I have never seen combat.

I can never know the feeling that those who have served during war time know about being under attack or losing a friend in combat. I feel fortunate that I will never know what that is like.

However, for those who do, my heart goes out to you in many ways.

For those who served in WW II, thanks for being a part of the "greatest generation". Were it not for you, Europe would all being speaking German, and who knows how far Japan would have pushed.

The those who served in Korea, like members of our congregation - Eugene and Ernie - the sacrifices you made and the stories you have shared with me are priceless.

And what can I say to those who served in Viet Nam other than "Welcome Home" brother and sister! The treatment that you got when you returned home makes my stomach go into knots. You brave people need to know, that as has been the case so many times in the 60's forward, it was the vocal minority who did and said those horrible things! Most of us are proud that you served your country and lived through things that most of us can never imagine.

For those who have served in the first Iraq war, Afghanistan, the current Iraq war and anywhere else around the globe, you are today's heroes! To MJ, Doug, and Pete - thank you so much for your service in the Global War on Terror! Some of us have taken the position that we "WILL NOT" allow what happened to our Viet Nam vets happen on our watch!

And to everyone who served in peace time. As the definition above says, you wrote that blank check, and thank God it was never cashed.

My prayer is for peace, knowing that there never has been and probably never will be. With that in mind thank you to all our VETERANS and their families! God bless you all, and God Bless America.

From the Field - A Gentleman Embedded with an Iraqi Unit

I got the following email from a close friend of mine. I'll let his email and the attached newsletter speak for themselves. It is rather long, but I wanted all the info left in place. I highlighted one particularly interesting section in blue. Remember, the islamic references come from the fact that this gentleman is embedded with an Iraqi unit.

The newsletter writer is our company's president's son-n-law. He is training Iraq's for military service in Iraq. He and 9 other Americans are embedded in an Iraqi unit. I thought it was worth forwarding information from the front line that you won't see on TV.

God Bless our Troops,

Gary C

Vipor Newsletter

Hello Team!

Asalaam Alykum (Peace be with you)! Shlon-kum (How are you (pl) doing?).

It’s that time of the month again—another installment of the VIPER newsletter. I hope you enjoy these publications and that they are of some use to you. We have observed a lot of positive activity this month. At the same time, we have experienced a decrease in enemy activity. Both are good for the mind, body, and soul!

Iraq Assessment:
Earlier this month, General Petreaus and Ambassador Crocker delivered their assessments to Congress. I assume many of you seized the opportunity to hear what they had to say. Many of us in Iraq watched the two leaders deliver their assessments on television. We had a crew from CNN at our location during the briefing, and rumor has it that CNN put some of our VIPERS on the big screen!

What did you think about their assessments?? I believe most of us had a fairly good idea on what would be said. I think most of us realize the time and sacrifices it will take in order to make a lasting difference in Iraq. For the rest of the world, and I speak on personal opinion alone, they received a message from the ‘guys on the ground’ that the solution to our current situation in Iraq will not be seen as quickly as most of us would like to believe. I think it is important for the world to hear that message from someone other than our politicians.

A few local nationals shared their opinions about the speech with me. Believe it or not, the Iraqis were very interested in hearing the assessments. They realize the fragility of Iraq, and the potential problems of US withdrawal from this area. From the few conversations that I had with these people, they believe General Petreaus offered ‘hope’ to them. His message appeared clear and provided new light on things that were not known by the Iraqis.
Muqtada Al Sadr orders ‘stand-down’:

Prior to the General Petreaus briefing, Muqtada Al Sadr (MAS) issued an order to his militia, known as Jaysh al Mahdi (Mahdi Army, or JAM). MAS ordered the ‘stand-down’ of his militia. They were ordered to cease all attacks against the Coalition Forces for a period of six-months. In Iraq, most of us were caught somewhere in between ‘Relief’ and ‘Disbelief.’ Why would MAS order a stand-down and would his militia follow the order?? Fortunately, I won’t get into all the details about MAS’ militia or its problems. I encourage you to keep in mind that the order of MAS only applies to his militia. There are a lot of bad people (terrorists, criminals, etc…) that do NOT believe in MAS or follow his orders. And I think it is too early to tell if his order will make a difference.

We are in the middle of the holy celebration of Ramadan. Speaking from personal experience, I have heard about this celebration, but have very little understanding about the event. I have always associated the event with ‘fasting’, but always knew that there was much more to it. It is very interesting to have the opportunity to witness this event in the middle of a Muslim country. As a result, I thought it would be helpful if I shared some of the information that I have gathered about this holy event.

The holy month of Ramadan is the month in which Muslims believe that God revealed the first revelations of the Qur’an to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel. The Qur’an makes observance of Ramadan obligatory for all Muslims. Ramadan is a time for prayer, reflection, and reconciliation. It occurs in the ninth month of the lunar calendar and is the holiest of all months to Muslims. During this month, the gates of Heaven are open and the gates of Hell are closed. ‘Fasting’ is a very important part of Ramadan. ‘Fasting’ is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a process of religious purification. While fasting, all Muslims are required to refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and sex or other acts of the flesh. (Note: the five pillars of Islam, and I will be brief, are accepting that there is one God, and only one God, praying daily, financial contributions, fasting, and the Hajj (visiting Mecca)).

Shiites and Sunnis both observe the month of Ramadan, but usually start on different dates. Of course, you do not have to be a devout Muslim to experience the joys of Ramadan. Many Muslims who do not pray or do not follow all of the rules set in the Qur’an have been known to become very pious during Ramadan, in a belief that observing Ramadan perfectly will erase their past sins. If you are a Shia Muslim, you will also celebrate the ‘martydom of Ali’. Ali was the 4th Caliph and is considered the 1st Imam to the Shia (note: Remember earlier newsletters in which I described the twelve Imams of the Shia faith?)

The work ethic of the Iraqis changes tremendously during this month. Working in the day is minimized in order to rest and pray. However, the activity picks up greatly during the night. There are two important meals that occur daily during Ramadan. The first is ‘Iftar’ (Breaking of the fast). It takes place at sunset after the Maghrib (religious leaders) call to prayer. The second is ‘Suhur’ which takes place shortly before sunrise. Our interpreters prepared a feast for us last week, and together, we enjoyed ‘Iftar’. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! But only if your stomach can handle it.

The last ten days of the month are considered to be the holiest days of Ramadan, prayer and piety in general increases further. The most symbolic event during Ramadan occurs on the ‘Night of Power’, called “Laylat al-Qadr” in Arabic. It is believed to be the night on which the angel Gabriel first visited Muhammad with the first revelation of the Qur’an. On this night, one prayer equals 1000x prayers.

Ramadan ends with ‘holiday of the breaking of the fast’, known as “Id al-Fitr”, which will occur in mid-October this year. It is a joyous occasion. Muslims enjoy being able to eat and drink during the day. Most businesses comes to a complete halt during this three-day celebration. Most Muslims will visit their relatives, and gifts of money and clothing will be given to the children of the extended family and the children of friends.

Well that’s Ramadan in a nutshell.

Are we making a difference?:
“Make a difference” is the motto of the Iraqi Assistance Group (IAG). This is the same group responsible for all Transition Teams (TT), and by logical deduction, this motto serves as a vision for TTs. I think we lived up to that motto this month and I will provide you two examples.

On 08 September 2007, our Iraqi Army brigade, along with assistance from their TTs, conducted a Cooperative Medical Engagement (CME)-- a giant success for the Iraqis and Americans. Traditionally, the Coalition Forces (CF) conduct Medical Operations (MEDOPS) which provide the local people in a community with essential medical assistance for temporary ailments (i.e. Colds, Headaches, etc…). A CME takes the traditional MEDOP to a new level. The coordination required and types of medications and medical support required are much greater. A CME allows the local nationals to receive care for chronic ailments, and affords them the opportunities to be treated at larger hospitals. In order to conduct a CME, the Iraqi staff has to forecast their requirements and coordinate their plans. The CME served as a great tool to force the staff of the Iraqi brigade into developing a synchronized military plan—security, interagency assistance, and logistics are a few of the tasks included in the plan. The CME was a major accomplishment for this Iraqi Army brigade in planning and execution. This operation was Iraqi-led, and brought hope to the people, both Sunni and Shia, of Al-Salaam. In the past, the majority of operations were CF planned and executed, but now we are seeing the shifting of power to the Iraqi Army.

On 22 September 2007, our Iraqi Army brigade graduated their third Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC). In concept, PLDC is very similar to our version of PLDC for the US Army. The intent of the course is to prepare Iraqi Soldiers to become first line leaders—Non Commissioned Officers. At times, we (Americans) tend to take our NCO corps for granted. It is an instrumental capability of our military. However, that is not the case for the Iraqi Army. From a cultural point of view, the Iraqis have never needed or valued a strong NCO corps. The strength came from their officers. Today, the Iraqis are extremely interested in the value of a strong NCO corps, and are taking active steps into making a strong NCO corps for their Army.

I could share numerous success stories of the Iraqi Army. Stories that you don’t get to see back home. To the average American, these stories may seem relatively small, but seeing the ‘hope’ in the eyes of the local nationals and Iraqi Soldiers speaks volumes for the difference that is being made. Success in this environment begins with creating positive momentum, then sustaining it. Events like the CME and PLDC are creating that momentum.

In watching these events with my own eyes, I find it very impressive that the Iraqis are taking ownership of their situation and taking the lead from our Coalition Forces. But I also know in my mind, and heart, that these events would not happen without Coalition Force support. Transition Teams are a prime example of the support that I’m referring to. The CME would not have happened without the great coaching and teaching done by our forces.

And now for the rest of the news, and probably the news that you care most about… Earlier this month, we hosted the incoming Brigade Transition Team Chief. He will be leading the team that replaces us in December 07. I think he had a good visit and took away a lot of useful information as he prepares his team to assume this mission. They are currently training at Fort Riley, Kansas. Do you remember that training? It seems like so long ago!!

Our EML program continues to go smoothly. LTC Martin Welker just returned from his short visit to the United States, and SFC Michael Eaton is currently at home with his family in the United States. SFC Eaton is our ninth teammate (out of ten) to go on EML. I will be the last one out the door on EML, and then we will be finished with the EML program. The next major move will be our re-deployment to Fort Riley.

I’m thankful for everything that you do to support our efforts. I know you contribute so much every day. I know we will never fully see all of the sacrifices that you make, but please know that we appreciate your thoughts and encouragement to make our lives better. I’m especially grateful for all the kids on our team. I don’t think most of them fully understand their sacrifices, and I would tend to believe that we will never fully understand their courage during this deployment. They have sacrificed a great deal, and I feel it especially important to say thank you to them!!

The Views Expressed........

......on this blog, "Do The Right Thing" are the views of Pastor Ed Boston, and do not represent the denomination of the church I pastor, the church itself, or the Presidential Prayer Team.

I speak for myself and myself only. That's one of the great things about this "new media", the little man (in this case, me) can voice our opinions and know that we are speaking for no one other than ourselves (unless otherwise stated).

The main stream media gets a big stage, and to be sure they speak for themselves - thus the "new media" is fighting back in our own way. One person at a time, one post at a time.

If there are any questions about this post, feel free to ask in the comment section, or email me at hopecyberpastor@gmail.com .

God bless you all,

and God bless America!

Should Legislators Follow the "Will of the People"?

Democratic presidential hopeful
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton,
D-N.Y., gestures during an event
to announce that Sen. Evan Bayh,
D-Ind., will support her
campaign. - Evan Vucci / AP

My comments at the end of the story.

Bayh endorses Hillary Clinton for president
By Maureen Groppe
Star Washington Bureau

WASHINGTON — Sen. Evan Bayh, who dropped his own bid for the White House in December citing the difficulty of running against celebrity Democrats, including Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, endorsed Clinton on Monday as the candidate with a “unique set of attributes to lead this country.”

“The next president of the United States must be experienced and seasoned, must be smart and must be tough,” Bayh said at a Capitol Hill news conference with the New York Democrat at his side. “I believe that Hillary Clinton is all of these things and more.”

The backing by Bayh, a moderate Democrat, could help Clinton with those who fear her reputation is too liberal to win the general election.

And should Clinton get the Democratic nomination, she might remember Bayh’s endorsement when selecting a running mate, a topic both did their best to sidestep Monday.

It’s unclear, however, whether Bayh, as a vice presidential candidate, would be able to deliver Indiana, which has not voted for a Democrat for president since 1964.

But political analyst Charlie Cook said that may not matter as a reason to select Bayh who would bring a reputation as a “highly regarded leader in the moderate wing” to assuage less liberal voters.

“While I think Indiana would be a very difficult state for any Democrat to win under any circumstances, I think Bayh would be on any short list of potential running mates, particularly for Clinton,” Cook said. “It isn’t about Indiana, it’s about the signal it would send.”

Republicans, however, said the signal Bayh’s endorsement sends is his eagerness to get to the White House rather than to represent Hoosier voters.“Evidently, the chance to be vice president is more appealing than standing against the kind of politics a Clinton ticket represents: bigger government, higher taxes, government-run health care, and a policy of retreat in the war on terror,” Indiana GOP Chairman Murray Clark said in a statement.

Bayh, who was considered for vice president in 2000 and 2004, said that position is not “the kind of thing you probably say no to” but is not the reason he endorsed Clinton.

“Decisions like that and the factors that influence it are just unknowable” so far in advance, he said.

Asked if she sees Bayh as vice presidential material, Clinton responded that “it goes without saying that his record of public service is extraordinary.”

“I have the highest personal and professional regard for him,” she said.

Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, who also ran for the nomination, endorsed Clinton in March and has been helping Clinton in his critical home state.

The Clintons and Bayhs have known each other for about two decades, dating back to when Bayh and Bill Clinton both served as Democratic governors of conservative states. Bayh and the Clintons are also active in the Democratic Leadership Council, a group of moderate Democrats that Bill Clinton led to steer the party away from its liberal wing.

Bill Clinton chose Bayh to deliver the keynote address at the 1996 Democratic National Convention when Clinton was nominated for re-election and referred to Bayh in his 2004 memoir as “a gifted leader who might be president some day.”

Linda Moore Forbes, Bayh’s deputy chief of staff, worked as President Clinton’s deputy political director.

Nancy Jacobson, who was chief fundraiser for the exploratory presidential campaign, now works for the Clinton campaign.

Both Hillary Clinton and Bayh stressed Monday how much they’ve gotten to know each other better through their Senate work.

Both members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where they’ve built reputations as more hawkish Democrats, Bayh and Clinton traveled together to Iraq and Afghanistan in January and later jointly introduced legislation to improve health care for Iraq war veterans.

“We have continued to talk and think together about the best way forward,” Clinton said about their collaboration since the trip.Bayh is the eighth senator to endorse Clinton. Clinton, the early front-runner for the Democratic nomination, is the only Democratic presidential candidate who has been endorsed by a senator outside the candidate’s home state.

In addition to Bayh, the top elected Democrat in Indiana, Clinton’s campaign also is supported by Joe Hogsett, the former secretary of state under Bayh and a former Bayh aide. Bren Simon, a major Democratic Party donor from Indiana, has been helping Clinton raise money.

Among the other Democratic presidential contenders, former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois have announced lists of endorsements by Hoosiers.

State House Majority Leader Russ Stilwell, former Indiana Democratic Party leaders Ann DeLaney and Robin Winston, and former Bayh aide Bill Moreau are among the Indiana Democrats who have endorsed Edwards.

Former Indiana Democratic Party Chairman Kip Tew and several state legislative members from Gary and Indianapolis are among the public supporters of Obama.

Tew said he’s heading Obama’s Indiana campaign because Obama is a “change candidate.”But Tew said Bayh’s endorsement of Clinton would help her in Indiana because people respect Bayh.
“Senator Obama, I’m sure, would’ve liked to have had Evan Bayh’s endorsement,” Tew said.

Reporter Lesley Stedman Weidenbener of the Louisville Courier Journal contributed to this story.

Contact Star Washington Bureau reporter Maureen Groppe at (202) 906-8118 mgroppe@gns.gannett.com.

Then an Indy Star online poll:

Do you think Sen. Evan Bayh should have endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton's bid for president?

No: 72%

Yes: 28%

Total Votes: 3598

Note: The results of this poll are not scientific and reflect the opinions of only those who have chosen to participate.

I saw another poll on a local television station last night that nearly mirrored the Star's poll shown here. It is clear to me, that Senator Bayh, made this decision based not on what Indiana voters want, but painfully clear what Evan Bayh wants.

I had the honor of sitting down with Sen. Bayh (see.... I can be respectful to those I disagree with), and nine other veterans from Indiana last Tuesday. We were able to voice our support for our troops and give a clear message that nothing short of victory in Iraq and Afghanistan is acceptable to us.

Unfortunately, Senator Bayh did NOT take our stance that the Webb amendment was bad legislation for the troops as he voted for the amendment the very next day (the measure failed to gain the 60 votes necessary to pass filibuster).

I will give him credit that he voted FOR the condemnation of the moveon.org ad calling General Petraus a "betrayer" of his country.

I don't know the answer to the question the headline makes (I have my opinion), but clearly Senator Bayh, doesn't see the need to follow the will of the majority of the people of Indiana.

Free Speech and Ahmadinejad Have Nothing in Common!

OK, I can not remain quiet about this topic of free speech and that this Ahmadinejad clown should be allowed to give a speech in the United States of America.

Let me just say that the logic of him giving a speech on American soil is like asking Hitler to speak in America during WWII.

Now people who don't agree with me would say "we are not at war with Iran".

To that, I say hogwash. I have heard first hand from boots on the ground in Iraq, that there is no debate on whether or not Iran is supplying weapons to the "bad guys" in Iraq. If Iran is supplying the "bad guys", then we are at war with Iran - declared or not! Seems pretty simple to me. Let's see what the U.S. Constitution says:

U.S. Constitution - Amendment 1

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Keeping a person from speaking would not be making a law, thus Amendment 1 doesn't apply, even for those who say that the constitution applies to non-Americans as well as Americans (which is another discussion that could take up numerous posts).

I had Fox News on the TV when the "clown" was introduced, and with just the introduction - I had to change channels. John Coatsworth, Dean of the School of International Affairs called him "his excellency" prior to his name.

That was it for me - a man responsible for killing our men and women in Iraq deserves no title such as that, and if I want to know what he says, there will be plenty of press coverage for me to see later. On top of that, I haven't taken my blood pressure meds yet today, and I didn't want to have a stroke thinking about "my" country giving this killer a forum to lie and spew propaganda.

So there, comment away and I'm going to go get my meds!

Sunday Sermon Outline

Series on Evangelism
Why Evangelize? Reason One:
Satan’s at Work in the World Today!
Revelation 12 & 13

Last week in the first sermon in our Series on Evangelism, I preached a sermon entitled: Introduce Others to Jesus. Today, the title of the sermon is: Why Evangelize? Reason One: Satan’s at Work in the World Today!

I. His Hatred for Christ: Revelation 12: 13 – 15

13When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach. 15Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.

II. His Hatred for God’s People: Revelation 12: 17

17Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

III. His Power and Authority: Revelation 13: 2

2The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

IV. His Popularity Among Unbelievers: Revelation 13: 3, 4

3One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. 4Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?"

V. His Blasphemy Against God: Revelation 13: 6

6He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

VI. His War Against Believers: Revelation 13: 7

7He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

VII. His Ability to Deceive: Revelation 13: 14

14Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

A Great Example to Follow!

Miss Beth sent an email to a group of conservatives we correspond with and I asked her if it was OK to post it here on my blog. The first part below is her email response, and then the bottom is the letter to her school board that is a wonderful example for those who are not happy with the way things are going with their local schools.

The email is great as it gives a "how to" on approaching matters like this, and then the letter shows how to be firm and polite and still get a very important message across.

So, here's the email and then the letter ---- Thanks, Miss Beth for setting a great example for all of us to follow!

You absolutely may do so Ed...while it turned out well with the teacher in that the original books I was concerned about do NOT appear on the reading lists and aren't allowed in the library, it definitely got me thinking about the rest of the school district--and remember my post to my two congressmen? One of them, Raul Grijalva, is a far, far left winger who started on the school board--his daughter is now on the school board.

The one good thing I can say about the school the kids are going to is, while it is a school district school, it's also a charter school and very, very small. I made noise like this last year and was completely accomodated--and I don't plan on letting up until my daughter graduates (and she's only 7th grade now--it goes through 12).

I think a lot of the difference I see and a lot of the reason I get what I want (and a lot of parents don't do this) is:

1) I KNOW what I'm talking about when I question something (last year I refused to allow the kids to be taught evolution on the grounds it was a soft theory and not a hard science. When I was challenged, I knew what questions to ask such as show me the fossil record. Then I questioned the teaching materials--which I had required my children bring home so I could examine--and said if you're going to teach Darwin's Origin of Species then you must also teach his Black Book which debunks his own theory--yes, I have read both and studied paleoanthropology extensively as a hobby)

Before I argue a point with a supercilious teacher, I make sure I'm just as educated if not more so on the point I'm going to argue--most parents don't bother to do that and so have no real ammunition.

2) I offer an alternative along certain lines--I don't demand my kids be excused from the learning cell--I ask they be given an alternate cell to study--they still have to study something, they don't get to just "sit this one out", so to speak.

3) I try to offer what I consider to be a reasonable solution--i.e., have the same number of books from differing viewpoints made available and in some cases required.

It's not just me going in and carrying on--it's me carrying on and offering a solution.

I listen to Laura Ingraham a LOT and she seems to like getting emails from parents who do things like this--it's part of her "Power to the People" push. She's never read any of my emails on air, but I plan on sending her this letter as well as what I wrote earlier to the teacher.

Absolutely spread it far and wide--most people are terrified at the thought of confronting authority and if they overcome that fear they don't know even where to start. This might help someone find that starting point and start taking back their culture and/or rights.

Thanks Ed--I'm honored you'd do this!

Miss Beth

Letter to school board:

I would like to know what books are approved for reading lists for junior and senior high school students, as well as the grade level breakdowns. I would also like to know what kind of balance is achieved in school libraries for differing points of view.

I'm concerned there is too much emphasis being put on being nice or politically correct regarding extremist groups, whether they be foreign or domestic, rather than the facts being given. I'm also concerned there are not enough books written by veterans in the school libraries.

My family is very conservative and I censor each and every book my children read. If there is a book on their reading lists that's required reading, and I don't approve of that book or information content, I will demand accomodation for our beliefs. I think it's shameful muslim/islamic sensibilities are catered to while Judeo-Christian values are shoved by the wayside and this family will not tolerate it.

Therefore, please provide these reading lists as soon as possible.

I also feel very strongly about what's being taught in their science classes and have already met with and spoken with their teachers about certain issues; I have been assured my children will receive alternate study cells for those issues.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

Miss Beth , PLS, PNP

God Bless America!

Another picture taken from the South Lawn of the White House. It shows the fountain at the back part of the White House lawn, the Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. Now does that make you proud to be an American???? All are symbols of the great freedoms that we have here in the United States of America. The United States of America, founded by Godly men and women who were willing to stand up for what is RIGHT. So having been in the nations capital this week, yes I feel patriotic and but even more so I thank the Good Lord in Heaven that He allowed me to be born in this great country of ours. So "God Bless America"!

God Bless America, Land that I love.

Stand beside her, and guide her

Thru the night with a light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans, white with foam

God bless America, My home sweet home.

God bless America, My home sweet home.

From Vets for Freedom

Vets deliver message to Capitol Hill

On Tuesday, over 250 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans - along with Blue and Gold star families - took their message to Capitol Hill. Veterans from 42 states met with over 60 Senators, and over 100 Representatives. The message was simple: support General Petraeus and America’s mission in Iraq. The trip was a great success. Our voices were heard - and it appears that, barring any unforeseen developments, Congress will continue to support General Petraeus’s counter-insurgency strategy - for now. This was the goal of the "10 Weeks to Testimony" campaign - and together, we accomplished our goal. But as always, the battle continues. For more information about the event, check out articles at Human Events & Townhall. And at the bottom of this email we have included a number of photographs from the event. (At the top of the post here)

Vets for Freedom will continue to lead the charge in support of our brave men and women in uniform. And we will continue to ensure that the voice of the vast majority of veterans - those who understand how important it is to succeed in Iraq - are heard.I want to thank everyone who attended - and thank everyone who so graciously donated to allow this event to happen. The Vets for Freedom staff worked tirelessly to ensure success, and over 30 State Captains contributed to ensure their states were represented.

Vets for Freedom Charges Ahead! Our work is far from complete, and we are already planning future initiatives. In the near term, expect the following information:

  • Vets for Freedom Action Alerts Action Alerts. Yesterday, we emailed our members to ask them to call Congress and tell them to oppose the Webb Amendment. Our calls, in concert with our "Vets on the Hill" event, were instrumental in ensuring that this "backdoor" withdrawal amendment was unsuccessful. In the future, be on the lookout for other "action alerts."

  • State Chapters. We were fortunate to have over 30 State Captains attend our "Vets on the Hill" event, and together we had an opportunity to discuss future plans in a private dinner on Monday night. Our State Captains are motivated and ready to take the lead in their states. So, be on the lookout for your state leadership - or sign up to be a state captain yourself.

  • Feedback. If you attended the "Vets on the Hill" event, we would appreciate any feedback you have. You can send comment/questions/suggestions to info@vetsforfreedom.org. Vets for Freedom is proud to lead the way to support our troops and their mission. We will continue to get the word out - by empowering the most important asset our country has - the American veteran.

We will continue to ... move out and draw fire!

Regards, Pete Hegseth

Update: Webb Amendment Fails!!!!

Good news from DC, while Snooper and I were visiting "The Wall" on Wednesday, the Senate showed that they were listening to the message from Vets for Freedom on Tuesday! This is very good news - HEY DOUG, THEY HEARD YOU BROTHER!

My New Patriot Friend

I want to introduce you to a true American Hero. For now we will just call him Doug. I was seated next to Doug on the flight from Indianapolis to DC for the Vets for Freedom gathering. Doug has served 3 tours in Iraq and is now "back home again in Indiana".
There are so many stories that Doug shared with Snooper and I, as well as others. However, I want to tell you how proud I was when Doug voiced his adamant opposition to the Webb resolution being introduced on The Hill again this week.
Doug is probably not the most confident public speaker, but he had no problem speaking in person with conviction to Evan Bayh about how detrimental the Webb resolution would be for the troops currently on the ground. Needless to say that Senator Bayh and several legislative assistants that we met with heard this young warrior loud and clear about how they should vote on this piece of legislation.
I will be talking more about Doug later, but the Webb info, needs to get out now as this is "on the floor" I believe as of yesterday! Let your Senators and Representatives know to say "NO" to Webb. They will know what you mean!

Just for Fun!

A picture of the "better side" of the media knuckleheads who at the last second moved directly in front of Snooper and I who had "perfect seats" before they showed up!

I told Snooper I stopped by nancy pelosi's office while I was making my rounds at the Capital.

Vets For Freedom - First Night

Wow what a first night. The picture above has all three of the featured speakers at tonight's dinner program. On the left (no pun intended) is Congressman Jim Marshall (D-GA); right is General Jack Kean, former Vice Chief of Staff, US Army: and Congressman Brian Baird (D-WA), seated with blond hair.
So I know what you are thinking, Moonbats for guest speakers, right? That wasn't the case. These are two Democrats who are not opposed to the war! Yes, you heard me right.
Of the two Congressmen, both Snooper and I were very impressed with Rep. Baird. He originally voted against the war in Iraq, but has been to Iraq and has changed his mind and believes in our mission and that we can win the war! He has taken great heat for his stand (Washington State + Democrat leaders), but he had the line of the night. This is a direct quote. He was asked aren't you afraid this will cause you to lose in the primary? Rep Baird said "I can get another job, I can't get another country".
Needless to say he got a standing ovation from 250 + veterans!
I took lots of notes and have a lot to report as does Snooper, but I will close this post and get ready to post another picture and short story.
Know this - the tide is turning, the surge is working, and I wish all of you could experience this feeling of solidarity and unity for nothing short of total victory!
God Bless America!
Pastor Ed

First Post From DC

Greetings from our nation's capital! The plane ride from Indy to DC was fine. I met a fine young Marine Vet (all of 25 yrs old) named Doug who was on my flight and we were seated next to each other. It took me about 10 seconds to ask if he was headed to the Veterans For Freedom event and of course he was. I will probably post some of his "war stories" later, but let's just say that I am proud to have met this young hero!

Snooper was waiting on us at the airport, and I didn't have any problem figuring out who he was (maybe the hat with Snooper on it was a give away). I feel like he is my brother and it was nice to finally see one of our group in person.

Tomorrow is our big day. (Tonight won't be bad either as were are meeting up with Forrest Langley). At 8:00 am were will be having breakfast on the south lawn of the White House. Our itinerary says senior administration officials and military leaders. How cool it that - breakfast at the White House!!!!!!

We will be meeting with members of Congress later in the morning and afternoon and then we will all be meeting for a large press conference in the afternoon.

They have 250 people registered to be here and may hit 300 with late registrations.

Having met several different folks here for the event, you can rest assured that those here for are fine people who love America and our troops. I am proud to even be around such true Patriots!

More tonight after we finish.

God Bless America!

See You In DC

Most of you already know that I am headed to Washington DC tomorrow to join up with the Veterans For Freedom group as we take our concerns to Capital Hill. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come.

I love Washington DC! All the history, the solemness of the memorials -
Arlington cemetary and on and on!

However, this is more than just a fun trip, it really is a business trip. And the "business"is to let our nation's elected officials know that the American people mean business when it comes to supporting our men and women in the Armed Forces.

Nothing short of Victory in the War on Terror and with the Islamists who want us dead is acceptable. PERIOD! They need to know that when they choose cut and run that the American people are going to "cut" them out of office.

I have my camera and laptop ready and I hope to post each day with pictures while I'm gone, but until I get to DC let me say that I love each of you who stop by and check out my blog, (yes even the ones who don't agree with me)!

God Bless America!

Pastor Ed

Set Hell on Fire&Watch it burn! From Forrest Langley

Set Hell on Fire&Watch it burn!

Sovereign General help us in this horrid day.
The Awesome cost Soldiers Blood must pay.
As the Nation sleeps the sleep Tis death.
Dream on and you won’t have Freedom left.

Soldiers got anti-war liberals on the run.
No place to hide his ink pen is now his gun.
I am Infantry and I am now forced to war.
My Soldiers Blood is worth fighting for.

Ill march through Death and Hell with you.
Grab my hand cause we must survive to.
Provide Liberty, Freedom forevermore.
American Soldiers kicking in hells door.

We will set Hell even more on Fire.
Saving Soldiers is my soul’s desire.
For you my Brain my Blood my life.
On this battlefield I miss my wife.

For our freedom we must pay the cost.
Or your precious Liberties will be lost.
Terrorist attacked us our Twin Tower.
With Gods help they’ll see our Power.

These anti-war liberals could cost us all.
Catastrophe America the great can fall.
If we let our “Enemy within” withdraw.
And Soldiers Blood counts nothing at all.

As Soldiers Bloods trampled by the world to see.
By our own senate & congress what a catastrophe.
This will make our own Evil Enemy more united.
As our dirty politicians in government are divided.

Pull out our troops heard the Traitors say.
Lying to be the President some dark day.
Betraying Soldiers Sacred Holy Blood.
Anti-war you’ve underestimated our resolve.

America horrific war has been declared on you.
US Soldiers are bleeding doing all they can do.
We need you to stop these traitors take a stand.
Else War on Terror will be lost by our own hand.

As our anti-war politicians play hide and go seek.
Playing political games for there position to keep.
While it was popular to vote for the war! They did.
With almost four thousand dead they act like a kid.

Politicians claim we went to war under a false Intel pretense.
The very ones that voted us “Off to Iraq we go”. Don’t make sense.
Doesn’t matter now the fact is you voted us into Islamic Iraq.
Sacred Dead Soldiers Blood is something you can’t give back.
Calling a modern Paul Revere where are you???
Scream from your horse with Courage true.
Startle, Shake, Shock and Awake a Nation.
Wounded hearts Scream Horrors devastation.

Ride Paul Ride cause death is on your trail.
And yet behind Paul is destruction and hell.
When Americas streets are soaked blood red.
You’ll wish you had listened to what Paul said.
Check out Forrest's other commentary here:

Irrate Games Politicians Play; by Forrest Langley

We are not prepared to lay down arms retreat.
We don’t know how to quit nor the word defeat.
We didn’t come here to play political games.
If we lose here America will explode in flames.

Blood Sweat Tears is the only reason you’re free.
Death before dishonor is your soldier’s decree.
Honor, Freedom, Liberty is more than vocabulary.
These anti-war politicians sure do scare me.
You have twenty twenty vision, yet you’re blind.
Voting to retreat as our Soldiers fight and grind.
Asking us to be cowards and stop terrors war.
Goes against everything we believe and more.
We are not willing to quit till our objectives been met.
We are not willing to bow to the terrorist just yet.
Politicians claim we went to war under a false pretense.
The very ones that voted for war, just doesn’t make sense.
Doesn’t matter now fact is you voted us into Islamic Iraq.
Our sacred holy blood is something you can’t give us back.
Political traitors you desert us while we bleed under attack.
Honor, Honesty, Integrity is character traits that you lack.
Your vote to go to war was just hot air to blow,
It was so popular to get the vote you know.
Want to pull out troops you changed your mind.
Doesn’t matter we leave dead troops behind.
We Soldiers look at you with contempt.
You act as if from terrors war your exempt.
We have paid with our sacrificial blood see.
And our Comrades blood is just not free.
You dirty politicians you voted to send us here.
Al Qaeda loves you to them your such a dear.
They want to thank you for supporting them.
You traitors the enemy thinks you’re a Gem.

You’re not worth one drop of our Soldiers sweat.
Leave Soldiers alone and well win this war yet.
Sick of dirty politicians that won’t take a stand.
You vote as if you’re a citizen of Ayatollahs Iran.
Soldiers see Congress and Senate as they meet.
Our blood is worth so much more than defeat.
America, America the great red white and blue.
Betraying us soldiers is not becoming of you.

Sunday Sermon Outline

Series on Evangelism

As your Pastor and Shepherd of the Flock here at Hope Wesleyan Church, it is my responsibility to train and equip you to fulfill the Great Commission. I talked with the church board last Sunday, and admitted that I don’t think I’ve done a very good job at that to date.

The plan is for that to change. I will be preaching on this topic until the Lord compels me to change. That may be 2 sermons or 10 sermons, but whatever it takes for all of us to understand that it’s the job of each and every Christian to reach out to the “lost”.

Not only do I want each of us to understand that point, but I want to help show you that the job isn’t as difficult as most of us make it out to be.

The first message in this series will be titled:

Introduce Others to Jesus

This message is based on a book by Chris Conrad entitled:
5 Things Anyone Can Do To Introduce Others To Jesus.

I. Identify - Identify those who are outside a relationship with Jesus Christ.

A. 95 % of all Christians have never won a soul to Christ
B. 80 % of all Christians do not consistently engage in spiritual conversations with unchurched people.
C. 96% of church leaders believe their churches would have grown faster if they would have been more involved in evangelism.
D. Great Commission

Matthew 28: 18 –20

18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

II. Intercede – Intercede for spiritual awareness in others’ lives.

A. The Secret Weapon
B. What it isn’t....
1. Waiting until you have full knowledge of the truth.
2. Waiting until you have a dynamic testimony
3. Waiting until you develop the “gift of evangelism”
1. Pray they will be receptive.
2. Pray they will be released.
3. Pray they will be responsive.

D. God has made the promise, but we have to pray!

Genesis 17:8

8 The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God."

III. Intersect – Intersect your life with those who need Christ

A. Ambassadors for Christ – don’t live in a Christian cocoon.
B. Guilt is the wrong reason for being a witness.
C. The correct response is our genuine response to The Great Commission.
D. God’s timing is perfect.
E. Slow down so we can find non-Christians to spend time with.

Matthew 22:35-39

35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

IV. Invite – Invite others to consider a relationship with Christ.

A. Ultimately we decide if we are going to join God in being facilitators.
B. Huge benefits when we join God in becoming facilitators.
C. The Holy Spirit will prompt you.
D. Don’t be afraid to ask the question.
E. You can do it!!!!!

1 John 4:18

18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

V. Involve – Involve others in a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

A. Once people become Christ followers, we have a responsibility to help them grow as believers.
B. Christian Community is the best environment for spiritual growth.
C. Jesus commanded us to make disciples not just Christians.

John 10:10

10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Non-discipleship results in the “thief having his way. Discipleship results in Jesus Christ having His way!

Alan Keyes Will Run For President

Will appear in Values Voter Debate Sept. 17

September 14, 2007
RenewAmerica staff

On Friday, Sept. 14, Alan Keyes filed a Statement of Candidacy (Form 2) with the Federal Election Commission--thus officially announcing as a Republican candidate for President of the United States.

Keyes told Janet Parshall, host of a nationally syndicated radio show, that he's "unmoved" by the lack of moral courage shown by the other candidates, among whom he sees no standout who articulates the "key kernel of truth that must, with courage, be presented to our people."

He added, "The one thing I've always been called to do is to raise the standard . . . of our allegiance to God and His authority that has been the foundation stone of our nation's life"--and he decried the lack of "forthright, clear, and clarion declaration" from the other candidates concerning this issue.

As a result, Keyes said, "We're putting together an effort that's not going to be like anything before, because it's going to be entirely based on citizen action. We're going to be challenging people to take a pledge for America's revival," and elevate them from spectators in the political arena to participants.

The former Reagan diplomat ran previously for president in 1996 and 2000. During the 1996 race, he was widely credited with forcing abortion to the center of public policy debate. In 2000, he was acknowledged by commentators at Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN as the winner of the Republican presidential primary debates. In that election, he continued his prior focus on America's moral crisis, and also made abolishing the income tax a serious question for policy-makers.

This election cycle, Keyes has already significantly influenced the debate, according to some observers, who note that at least a few of the GOP candidates appear intent on imitating some of Keyes' well-known positions, in an effort to woo moral conservatives--without which no Republican is likely to win in the general election.

As a prelude to running, prior to making up his mind to announce, Keyes has been writing a series of essays on the 2008 election titled "The Crisis of the Republic"--published at RenewAmerica and disseminated by several other outlets. A common theme of the articles is the need to restore personal sovereignty that is based in religious premises and self-discipline, if American society is to survive in liberty.

Keyes said he plans to join the Values Voter Presidential Debate Sept. 17 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. To hear the entire Keyes announcement, click here:

While We Sleep; from Forrest Langley

As with the last post there is more to read with this poem at the link below:
Hear Ye Hear ye listen to Paul Reveres ghost.
Poem written by Reveres Spirit the poem is entitled
While we slept and dreamt enemies defined us,
Liberal Anti-War news reporters redesigned us,
Enemy unawares crept into media the masses deceived,
America you’ll fall for anything if them you have believed
You know what we need a Spirit likened to a Paul Revere.
Anointed by Providences own Hand to Scream Truth Clear.
As Prophets of old when they spoke shook the hemisphere.
Will God send Elisha of old To Awake giving ears to hear.
Armed with the simple plain Truth your Enemies defeat.
Break the Spell that binds destroy the doctrine of the elite.
Scream Paul Revere Scream awaken us to what is true.
Our only hope is True “Spirit” lights freedoms flame anew!
Soldiers blood calls for vengeance for were locked into a deadly war.
Worse Sad part it’s not in Iraq or Afghanistan but on our own shore.
While our elected defeatists and nay-slayers want us to cut and run.
Soldiers don’t understand! Our Army Doctrine is Kill enemy with gun.
Oh America is beautiful as we try to awaken her from The Deadly Sleep.
She is having an awful nightmare! Dead and wounded soldiers hurt deep.
Congress and Senate convinced us so we sent our Soldiers to Iraq’s war.
Very same ones who convinced us now tell us Iraq is a threat no more.
Politicians fight a bloody war! Vicious too they fight to get the votes.
No holds barred even if it means cutting their own Soldiers throats.
Political Strategy get Vote! How? Create political Image an illusion.
If polls swing other way. Scream faulty Intel sure we have a solution.
