What would have happened in 1789 or 1942 or 9-11 if a top government official stepped in front of the people and publicly proclaimed America was a nation of cowards? He would have been run out of the country on a rail, packaged in tar and feathered, at least. But that’s what happened in two thousand and nine.

And you did nothing!

Have you become a nation of cowards, America?

In the greatest show of arrogance and disdain any congress every showed any citizenry, your dysfunctionally elite, self-interested, non-representing representatives passed the largest spending bill in history without reading it. And you did nothing!

You want them to obey your constitutional mandate and secure your borders. And they ignore you. You ask them to enforce your immigration laws. And they ignore you. You say stop the madness of handing three-hundred-billion dollars of a bankrupted Treasury to illegal alien welfare, rewarding them for making a mockery of your laws. And they ignore you.

And now in open defiance of the overwhelming will of the people are preparing more amnesty programs.

You say stop exporting my nation’s vital industry to foreign shores. And they ignore you. You say no to using your money to bail out failed, corrupt and greedy businesses. And they ignore you. You say implement the E-verify system so American jobs go to American workers. And they ignore you.

If your self-serving Congress were a business, they’d all be in jail now. The biggest traitors among you hold elective office. Only when they feel the almighty wrath of We the People, marching in the streets from California to New York, shouting “We’re mad as hell and we want our country back,” will they get the message they work for you.

Wake up America!

While you were playing with the toys of your consumer wealth you lost much more than your bloated economy of living beyond your means. You lost representative democracy. Your servants have become your masters.

Taxation without representation is tyranny. But still you look to government to solve problems they created in the first place. You’re sucking at the hind tit of a dead cow.

Why isn’t there a three-million-person We the People march on Washington, a nationwide taxpayers’ revolt, thousands of cars and trucks surrounding your nation’s capitol, bringing your failed government to a standstill?

Democracy doesn’t repress power, it unleashes it to we the people. Take it now! They dictated an economic salvation plan to you. Now it’s time to stick it to them with a We the People stimulus plan.

Require all laws that apply to the rest of the country to equally apply to Congress. Start by first removing the elite privileges that place your non-representing representatives above you, not with you. Require all laws that apply to the rest of the country to equally apply to Congress. Repeal Congress’s right to vote for their own raises. Balance the federal budget. Force your legislators to do what you now have to do – live within your means.

If you don’t, you’re committing national suicide.

Make Congress pay into the Social Security system. They make the laws for it. Now, they might be interested in thinking twice before allowing twenty million illegal aliens to reap the benefits of a retirement program the legal citizens paid into all their lives.

Long-term power corrupts. Limit Congress from serving more than two terms. That’s all you give your President. Let them search for their own 401(k) plan, instead of the gross unfairness of awarding them their full salary for the rest of their lives, after only serving one term. Stop paying for lawmakers’ insurance premiums. After all, they’re only part-time employees. They might pass some laws on insurance companies if they had to find one themselves.

Throw out of office every congressman and woman who didn’t bother to read the biggest spending bill in history before voting for it.

With the money you save from all of the above, put it into increased salary and benefits for the men and women of the Armed Forces. They never fail you.

Start no war unless you intend to win it. Make English the official language of America. You talk of united we stand, but do nothing to make it happen. Give every legal immigrant a chance to succeed. Not one cent of taxpayers’ money for illegal aliens. We are a nation of laws and do not reward lawbreakers.

Abolish the Electoral College and put the election of the President back in the hands of we the people.

Bring back universal service … two years in the military or two years in community involvement. Ensure your future. Rekindle the spirit of America. Service, honor and duty to country. Give your young people a chance to understand they are entitled to nothing they don’t earn.

Wake up America! You’ve allowed yourselves to become little more than cowering spectators watching the nation your grandparents built, the richest, most powerful, most self-sufficient republic in history with the highest standard of living any nation ever achieved, now in the middle of the greatest unprecedented decline in modern history.

The world’s only superpower can’t defend its borders, balance its budget, win its wars, manufacture its own products or protect its own currency. The total debt obligation in the next several years is approaching the gross domestic product of the entire world.

You’ve diminished the future of your children, grandchildren and 10 more generations of Americans.

On September 11^th, two thousand and one, three-hundred-million Americans put aside what divided them and rallied around what united them.. You proudly flew your flags, wore T-shirts that said “These colors don’t run!” Then your leadership told you to do nothing. Let your professional Army do the fighting. Perhaps you learned to do nothing too well.

Two-hundred-thirty-three years ago, the silent majority in Boston got fed up with taxation without representation and held a little tea party to prove the anger of We the People is on the march. It started the first American Revolution.

Now, it’s time to start the second American revolution.

Take an envelope, put a tea bag inside. Simple. Seal it and send it to your non-representing representatives in Congress. They’ll get the idea. We’re mad as hell and we want our country back.

Look in the mirror. There’s your leader. Phone your talk radio hosts. Call for a tax protest. Set your Internet communities on fire with the idea.

But if you decide to do nothing again, then buy a gun. You’ll need it.

From anger to madness: A class-warfare crazed government mob is running amok

Everybody makes mistakes, and I made a beaut the other day. I was wrong to call members of Congress blow-hards and buffoons and declare them worse than useless.

I was too kind.

I should have said our representatives are gangsters in pinstripes and pearls. They are petty tyrants and the more power they grab, the more at risk we are. Homeland Security should flash Code Red any time this Congress is in session.

It is twilight in America now. The House vote to use the tax code to retroactively punish bonus babies was an act of sheer madness. What started as phony outrage at AIG has crossed the line into insane policy. It is stunning that the vote was lopsided and bipartisan.

The Senate is itchy to go along, and President Obama says he’s ready to tighten the thumbscrews on the banks. Is there no adult who will bring a straitjacket?

We should all be very afraid. Class warfare is mere predicate for a witch hunt that, once unleashed, will not stop with misbegotten wealth. It will punish success and stifle innovation. Dissent will invite dishonor.

That Congress is a gang of cheap connivers is not news. Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel, Charles Grassley, Barney Frank - they have been national embarrassments for years.

But now they are dangerous, emboldened by public fear and anger. They know nothing, but have power and smell opportunity for more.

Missing in action is the Barack Obama who vowed to unite the country around common values. Lately he has been the very opposite of the man he promised. Instead of hope, many have a growing fear of the arrogant government he leads.

Obama is smart, quick and charming, and, as he showed on “The Tonight Show,” owner of a thousand-watt smile he can deploy at will. He silkily manages to make the ridiculous sound reasonable. When he insults the Special Olympics, he is forgiven.

Yet even “Tonight” host Jay Leno broke from full flattery to reveal his qualms about the meaning of the bonus tax. “Here’s something that kind of scared me,” he said. “If the government decides they don’t like a guy, all of a sudden, hey, we’re going to tax you and then, boom, and it passes.”

Obama brushed it off, part of an endless road show claim that he will bring back “common sense” to the financial system and restore “those values that built America.”

If only. In truth, there is no history for what he is doing. He is the most radical President of our times, far outside the mainstream of our political philosophy.

He is not a reformer who fixes things. He fancies himself “transformative,” a man who reshapes and reorders. It apparently begins with smashing the existing order under the pretext of managing the crisis he inherited.

During the campaign, a fellow journalist confided that “I know Obama is a Manchurian candidate, I just can’t figure out what for.”

I laughed then, but no more. Obama represents a secular religion that believes, no matter the malady, Washington is the antidote. More government is the chicken soup of his tribe.

It is an illusion of many Republicans and Democrats that Washington can successfully manage the economy and our lives. Our institutions and culture are too big, too diverse and too unruly to be run like a banana republic.

Yet the economic mess has robbed the nation of its confidence, and the vacuum is being filled by politicians bearing promises and borrowed dollars. The true cost of this “help” will come later, with back-breaking debt and a lack of growth and opportunity.

We can’t say we haven’t been warned. “Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad” is more than folklore. It predicts our fate if we follow the government mob.

Glenn Beck: Last Line of Defense

I've been telling you for weeks to not be distracted by the "big news of the day" because it's usually just a smokescreen. But on Wednesday, I fell for it myself.

While everyone — including me — was taking sides on the AIG bonuses, something much more important was happening: The Fed announced it will pump a $1 trillion into the system by buying debt from our treasury.



Since they've lowered interest rates as far as they can, this is really a last ditch effort; it's like they put our entire economy up on the roulette table and the wheel is spinning.

To put this in perspective, think of America like a sick patient with a nasty staph infection. The doctors first try Penicillin to cure the patient. When that doesn't work, they try something else. And when all else fails they hook an IV to the patient.

That last line of defense was just hung over "patient America" yesterday, but we were all
— and that includes me — too focused on AIG to notice.

Here's what this means: We're borrowing money from ourselves to pay for programs we can't pay for.

And that's why the price of gold shot up about 75 bucks in 18 hours. Investors aren't stupid. They know the risks this poses, especially to inflation and our dollar.

So let me play doctor here and give you the diagnosis without talking to you like a 4-year-old: The antibiotic we've just been given has never once worked in the history of the civilized world.

Can this time be different? Absolutely, but only if we've got the guts to make some life-changing decisions; decisions that will force us to shoulder some unthinkable pain in the short term, but decisions that may just save this patient's life.

While watching the "Banking Queen" and his parade of hookers masquerading as US Senators vilify AIG, I suspected this was nothing more than a big smokescreen and that something even more sinister was coming down the DC sewer pipe. Beck confirmed my suspicions.
The dog and pony show we have been subjected to by a bunch of thieves ( CONgress ) slamming another group of thieves ( AIG ) covered up the fact that America took one in the shorts by the Feds folks.

Their best guess as to whether or not this will work to "stimulate" the economy is just that. A guess. This has never worked in the recorded history of man so why do they think it will work now? They are in uncharted territory and nobody...NOBODY can say if it will work this time around.
At best we may be looking at a depression. At the worst we may be looking at depression and the value of our dollar worth less than the paper it is printed on.

Watch Becks video. If you were watching his program last night on FOX then you are well aware of the situation.

You won't hear about this on any of the other network stations and few except Beck are exposing this for what it is.

God help us if this fails.

We here at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee thank you for your hard work in opposition to the shameful efforts of President Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress to grab nearly $1 TRILLION of your money for programs that had little to do with "economic stimulus." Mostly this was a scam to rip off the taxpayers under the guise of “stimulus” sold with the urgency that if this bill wasn’t passed then terrible things would happen to America.

Barack Obama – who campaigned on the hollow promise of “hope” and “change” instead pedaled fear and lies to push his agenda forward.

But while Obama and the Democrats in Congress may have infuriated us with their shenanigans, we should recognize the impact we had in the national debate over Obama’s big government spending plan. The Senate was overwhelmed with hundreds of thousands of phone calls, emails and FAXes in opposition to pork bill – in fact, we jammed up the phone system and voicemail boxes of Senators repeatedly!

The good news is that your phone calls, emails and FAXes pressured Congress to strip almost $200 billion in spending from the bill. You should be proud of your efforts which helped to minimize the confiscatory policies of Obama and the Democratic Congress.

But this experience should also be a lesson for all of us -- until we take back Congress from the Far Left that currently holds control, they will be able to push through their agenda, even when Americans speak out loudly.

The Obama Administration has already threatened additional stimulus proposals to follow – they want more of your money and they are going to take it. It has now been announced that Obama’s scandal-tinged chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, is going to take control of the census. This will enable Obama’s administration to manipulate the results in order to ensure Democratic control over Congress for the next 10 years.

And now Democrats in Congress are talking about implementing the Fairness Doctrine so they can silence many of the conservative voices on talk radio (such as Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity) and instead replace them with liberal programs.

So let’s be clear about this – we MUST win back control of Congress and defeat the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Democratic candidates in the upcoming 2010 congressional elections.

The Our Country Deserves Better Committee is already working to build a strong campaign to defeat dozens of these big-spending Democrats.

Is The New Government In Washington A Rogue Government?

Now that the Socialists have taken over the government of the United States, they need to insure they can maintain their control and they cannot be sure of that as long as we citizens are armed. So they MUST relieve you and I of our firearms. Enter “Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009”.

There’s a better than even chance that you haven’t heard about it. With the Mainstream Media in the United States comfortably ensconced in the pockets of the Democrats very little is being said, if anything, about the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. Rest assured, dear reader, it is pending federal legislation in Congress today! (H.R. 45) Representative Bobby Rush of Illinois, a Democrat, introduced the bill on January 6, 2009.

“The main objective of the bill is to provide for stricter gun control. A person would be prohibited by law from possessing a firearm unless approved by a state run system or been issued a license that would have to be renewed every five years within thirty days of the expiration date.
The Attorney General would set up a tracking system of all sales with dealers having to be licensed. Production figures of each licensed manufacturer would be made public.

All those current licensed gun owners would have two years to become certified by the Attorney General or risk losing private property or becoming a criminal.” (From Wikipedia: HERE.)

When you read the bill you quickly realize it targets all gun owners in the U.S.A.

This bill is an outrage! It seeks nothing less than to strip you and me of our 2nd Amendment constitutional right to keep and bear arms. When you read the bill you will also learn that two years after the passage of the bill, ALL FIREARMS in a citizen’s possession must be registered, not just those purchased after the bill passes, and this apparently applies to antique firearms as well. Further… every five years, if you own a firearm, you must go through a complete renewal process for each weapon you own! If you don’t do it, for whatever reason, there will be stiff penalties, which include the confiscation of your firearms and jail time with sentences as high as ten years in some cases.

And that is not even the worst of it. Nosiree! The bill also authorizes government searches without warrant, the creation of a federal bureaucracy to monitor firearm possession, etc.

With Democrats in control of the US Government, American citizens always need to guard such liberties as gun ownership even more closely. THIS is what happens when you trade freedom for security!

Back in September of 2007, we wrote the following: “What’s happening, all of a sudden, to bring on these “gun stories?” Well, the Left is feeling it’s oats right now. They have reason to believe they will win the 2008 Presidential election and… if they do… and if they retain control of the two houses of Congress, you can “bet the farm” that gun control legislation will be among the first items on the New Congress’ agenda of things to pass.”

I’m not a prophet, but I AM an ole country boy, with a smidgen of common sense, and THAT is all it took to divine where a government run by democrats would take us.

Why is gun control so popular among the Leftists of the world? Simple. As long as we citizens are armed we can shut down the Left any time we feel they have stepped too far over the line to be tolerated. They know that. They also know that they have come very close to that line on a number of occasions. They got the message. So now the socialists in charge of the US government feel they have to power to disarm us and secure their grasp on the throats of the American citizen and they’re going for it. What they fail to grasp is the fact that those of us on the Right understand that Obama, and his fellow socialists in the Congress, are on the point of the spear of the movement to transform America from a democratic republic to a socialist hellhole. It’s not going to happen without a fight.

Some of the democrats also understand that they cannot depend upon the US Military to back them up in this move to solidify their hold on America by shredding the Constitution and stripping their fellow Americans of their Second Amendment rights. The US Military are American citizens, too, and they have their own private collection of weapons. Plus, the vast majority of them favor the right to keep and bear arms… and… they took an oath to protect this country from all enemies, whether foreign or domestic. The democrats cannot trust them to back the government’s move on it’s own citizens.

Look, it’s very simple: For the Democrat’s socialist dream to be successful American citizens must give up their guns. We’re not going to do that. So, the current socialist government of the United States is going to try to take them.

The gun won this country from the Mother Country. The gun secured the remainder of the country between the two oceans and the gun has made us a free people and the gun has kept us free. So far, we have not forgotten that.

Congress had better understand. Americans are not going to give up their guns. If they pass this hellish bill into law, it will make criminals out of well over 85% of all Americans. I still have faith that my fellow Americans are willing to fight to protect their constitutional rights and their country even if that means opposing what millions of Americans consider as a rogue government in Washington.

As the US Navy Chaplain said during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor while he helped load the anti aircraft weapons firing at the Japanese warplanes slaughtering our service men and decimating out fleet: “Pass the Ammunition boys, and we’ll stay free.”

Get ready, my fellow Americans. It gives me a great deal of pain to warn you that all hell is about to break out within America.

An Open Letter to the Congress
and the President of the United States

For the last 35 years, educators and analysts at The Heritage Foundation have been intimately involved in the nation’s great public policy debates. In all that time, we have never encountered legislation with such far-reaching and revolutionary policy implications as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act currently before Congress. And never have we seen a bill more cloaked in secrecy or more withdrawn from open public exposure and honest debate.

In addition to being the single most expensive bill ever proposed, this measure calls for a massive expansion of the federal government’s reach into the day-to-day life of virtually every citizen, business and civic organization in the nation. That, in itself, should be the subject of an extensive public conversation and thoughtful debate. Instead, we have seen Congressional leaders schedule snap votes on a 1,434-page bill that no one—repeat, no one—has had a chance to read in its entirety, much less digest and deliberate.

This bill has been advertised as an economic stimulus bill—despite the fact that the Congressional Budget Office estimates it will actually weaken our nation's long-term economic growth. While the stimulative utility of the bill is, at best, questionable, it would unquestionably rewrite the social contract between the American people and their government. For example:

• The bill reverses the bipartisan and highly successful welfare reforms of 1996 and drastically expands the welfare state. For instance, it will start rewarding states for adding people to their welfare rolls, rather than for helping them find gainful employment. And contrary to long-established practice, it will entitle able-bodied adults without children to receive cash assistance.
  
• It does extreme violence to the concept of federalism—bailing out states that have spent irresponsibly at the expense of taxpayers in states that have been fiscally prudent.
  
• It greatly shifts the responsibility and power over health care delivery and decision making from individuals to government. Among other things, it would create a new federal health board to decide which medical services are “effective” in America, paving the way for government effectively to overrule the clinical decisions of private physicians.
  
• It deliberately censors religious speech and worship on school campuses by prohibiting use of any “stimulus” funds for facilities that are used for sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school of divinity.

The list goes on. These and similar provisions will mean fundamental changes in our society. In many instances, the bill would establish policies that directly challenge widely held American values.

We are appalled that Congress is even contemplating such profound changes with so little openness and due diligence. In the past, major policy changes in our welfare system, or health care, or trade policies, etc., were always, quite properly, preceded by extensive public conversation and full debate. That is how a democracy should make important decisions.

The failure of Congress and the Administration to allow that debate is damaging to our democracy. Both chambers of Congress suspended their budget rules to push it along. And both the President and the leaders of the House and Senate have violated their solemn promises that the bill would be available for several days of public review prior to voting, so that the American people might have a chance to learn what is in the bill and to make their views known to their elected officials.

This reckless approach to governance can only undermine public faith in our elected officials and our government as a whole. We call on Congress and the Administration to live up to their promises and stated ideals, and give the democratic process a chance to work.

Free Speech Protection Act

Dear Ed,

Earlier this year New York passed legislation protecting authors from what has become known as “libel terrorism,” lawsuits claiming defamation filed in foreign jurisdictions and intended to
intimidate authors and publishers. Since then, legislation modeled after New York’s bill, entitled the Free Speech Protection Act, was introduced with bi-partisan support in both the U.S. House and Senate.

We received word on Friday that Senators Specter and Schumer have filed the Free Speech Protection Act, with minor changes, as an amendment for consideration to be included in the Senate Defense Authorization bill (S. 3001).

The decision to allow amendments like this to be voted on for inclusion in the bill is made by the "managers" of the bill (Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin and for the GOP John Warner in Senator John McCain's absence). Senator Levin has to agree to allow a vote on our amendment. Levin, Warner and other Senate leaders are negotiating over which amendments (if any) will be allowed for consideration, and so far, only amendments directly related to the
defense bill have been considered and voted on.

It is therefore URGENT that Senators Levin, Warner, and other members of the Senate Armed Services Committee hear from the grassroots right away. We need you to contact these members and urge them to include the Free Speech Protection Act as an amendment to the Senate Defense Authorization bill, S.3001. Tell them protecting
American authors who write about terrorism is crucial to our national security and the war on terrorism.

The people of the USA are all angry and totally fed up with the actions of Congress. The approval rating for Congress has dropped to 11% while Geoge W. Bush's rating has climbed to 30%. Still, the majority members in both houses keep blaming our current woes on the failed policies of the Bush administration.

We all know that the overwhelming cause for the high cost of fuel and everything that depends on fuel is the scarce supply. We also know that if the oil companies in America were allowed to explore for and produce those resources we know to exist within our borders, the increased supply on the world market would push prices down and that would cause a reduction in price in the markets as a whole. We know who it is that has been the biggest factor in the severe reduction in America's oil production in recent years.

We know that Congress routinely votes themselves pay raises, seldom acts in the best interest
of the people, and spends a lot of time on subjects they should not be involved in.

The democrat majority has accomplished nothing since the last election except to deepen the financial crunch the people find themselves in, and the republicans have just sat back and done nothing substantial to help the people.

Both sides in both houses of Congress are equally to blame for the state of America today and the majority of Americans from all parties are looking for a way for the people to
assert their constitutional authority over their out of control government. Well, there is only one way by which the people of America can control Congress, and that is voting on election day.

But just voting isn't going to do anything. The people of America have to realize that the politicians have created and promoted the division between the two parties in order to keep Americans from agreeing with voters from the opposite party and voting for common
policies that would cause real change in the way congress operates. We have been made to believe that Democrat and Republican voters have nothing in common and are opposite in their views of what America should be.

This is a false notion used to keep voters from uniting and demanding Congress respond to the will of the people. All statistics from every source show that just over 60% of registered voters in America hold a view of America that is center to just right of center. Very few are far right or far left. This means that most Americans agree with each other on what needs to be done for America to remain strong politically, militarily, and economically.

Knowing that most Americans are disgusted with a greedy, non-responsive Congress, and knowing that the majority of Americans agree on what America should be, and knowing that the only means we have of changing our government for the better is to vote, the
following conclusion is logical, obvious, and a sound method to affect the change needed.

We, the People, the common voting citizens who believe it necessary to change the way Congress operates, need to agree that we all want what is best for America and her people and then decide to replace every member of Congress in both houses and of both parties by
not voting for the re-election of any present member, but to vote for a non-incumbent, preferably non-politician for every seat in the senate and house of representatives in every election until no member exists with more than one term in office. This will effectively destroy the long time good ole' boy cliques and elite power holders who have lost touch with the people they were elected to represent.

It will put into power a group of more motivated people who will be more representative of the people than of their own interests. Seeing the manner in which they were elected over the more famous and powerful career politicians will be a message to them that we, the People still hold the power over the government and that knowledge will tend to make them more willing to do what is in the best interests of Americans.

This is the only effective power we still hold as citizens, and it can only be effective if we all unite in a majority block for a single purpose and vote for a single result. The old patriotic truth of "United we stand, divided we fall," applies directly to the common voting people of America.

Only by each voter deciding to vote for a new congress will this change take place. There is no need to vote for a candidate from a party other than yours, or to compromise your
political ideals. There is only the need to vote for a candidate who is NOT already a member. No re-elections is our goal. We all know this is needed, we all know we have the means to make it happen. Let's all, Democrats and Republicans, Independents and Libertarians, resolve to make the change that will return our government to our control.

VOTE ALL THE BUMS OUT OF OFFICE!!

VOTE IN A NEW CONGRESS!!

RETAKE CONTROL OF OUR NATION IN A VOTER'S REVOLT!!

IT IS OUR LAST AND ONLY HOPE TO SAVE AMERICA FROM RUIN!!

Make the decision to elect a new congress. Tell your friends we can make a difference if we all vote to replace the corrupt congress in power. It requires only that we all agree as to what the problem is,and agree that this action will, at least, rid us of the entrenched fat cat politicians who have created the problems we all face. If the new congress is ineffective, we can replace them just as easily. At least we won't have the thieves and liars in power that we have now, and that is a major improvement anyone would welcome.

ALL VOTERS OF AMERICA UNITE AND USE THE POWER THAT WE HAVE LEFT TO SAVE AMERICA.

MAKE A DECISION TO DO WHAT IS BEST FOR AMERICA AND ITS PEOPLE.

will line the pockets of Big Oil executives, the same people donating

cash-strapped commuters—and not the oil companies who wrote their plan.”

The group plans to point to the ties between the GOP and Big Oil.

“We’ve
invited the media, and having a good crowd is critical to show them
that voters don’t want oil industry gimmicks—they want real solutions
like alternative energy to solve our energy crisis,” the e-mail said.

acknowledged that “Republicans have been dominating the debate around
gas prices for weeks with their sham drilling plan,” adding that the

Well, I had to think of a title that fits what the enviro-whacko's, Socialisto Chavez and Islamic Fascists in Saudi Arabia want to do/are doing(circle one) to this country.

Think about it.

It's BOHICA time again America. Get the KY ready.

Do you like paying over $4.00 a gallon for gas? Please do not patronize me by telling me Europeans are paying double that price. This isn’t Europe and that is their problem. We ain’t Europe…yet.

In 1995, oil was $19.00 a barrel, it is now at $128.90 a barrel as of yesterday. Every year since 1995, liberals in CONgress have blocked efforts to increase domestic oil and gas production, not only in ANWR but throughout the country and offshore.

We have a potential of trillions of barrels of oil on our own continent but we can’t touch it thanks to whom? The idgits in CONgress? Enviro-whacko’s? Saudi propaganda? OPEC? The U.N.?

All of the above? You pick....

Do you like the fact that other countries are drilling for oil off our shores? Does it bother you that China is one of those countries? Do we hear about this from our worthless MSM?

Perhaps you don't mind making socialist Chavez rich or mind paying for the decadence of Saudi prince's. Maybe you are one of those enviro-whacko's. If so you can stop reading. I wouldn't want to upset your limp wristed sensibilities or chill your global warming panic or otherwise rain on your parade of nonsense.

This country and the world needs oil. Without it we would all be walking or riding bicycles and paying outrageous prices for food or worse.

You say you want this country to run on alternatives to oil? Great! We ain't there yet are we, and until we are we still need oil. Energy from the sun? Good idea but very expensive. Wind power? Another good idea that has lost support. Do you really want to see thousands of acres of those ugly windmill generators dotting the landscape? Expensive to build and maintain to keep them at 100% peak efficiency. Why not nuclear power? Ask your enviro-whacko’s. They have all the answers don’t they. Don’t they?

Burning coal to run our electrical power stations or heat our homes causes pollution. Believe what you want. No matter what we do to clean it up it still causes pollution.

Fact: The average new car on the road today runs 97 percent cleaner than the average car built in 1970, thanks to a combination of cleaner gasoline and more efficient engines. As a result - although there are more Americans driving more miles in more cars than ever before - automobile-related emissions are down 41 percent since 1970.

The following is a list of energy sources along with the percentage of total usage for each.

Petroleum: 42%

Coal: 24%

Natural Gas: 20%

Nuclear Power: 8%

Hydro Power: 2%

Solar, Wind,etc.: 25

I suppose you like driving your little hybrid auto or your moped. Aren't they cute?. Wouldn’t riding bicycles be even better? How much food do you reckon a bicycle can carry? Hey but what about oil for the wheel bearings or the chain. Do you think spit might lubricate them? Vegetable oil maybe?
