Dear Brigade Member:

I want you to be the first to see our new television spot, "Defend the Heroes," which answers Congressman Murtha's public indictment of United StatesMarines. The video is a "worst of" highlight reel from his 2006 national media tour - much of the footage beamed the world hot spots in the Middle East.

As you may know, after a thorough military investigation, nearly all of the men Mr. Murtha accused of having "killed innocent civilians in cold blood" have been exonerated. Still, he refuses to apologize or correct the public record.

Friends, I'll fight for any citizen's right to speak, including Jack Murtha. But I also believe it's our obligation to correct the record when elected leaders stray from the facts.

That's what this ad is about - setting the record straight, and honoring true heroes.

We're asking Brigade Members like you to help us get this spot on the air. Would you please consider an immediate contribution of $100, $50 or even $25? We've set a goal of $200,000 by 9.11.08.
