Road to The Convention - Update; Republican Convention 2008 Day 1
Several items to pass on this morning, but first of all I want to ask you to remember all the folks in the path of Hurricane Gustav in prayer.
I'm sure most of you are aware that most of today's activities were canceled due to Gustav. First Lady Laura Bush introduced a video from the Governors from the affected states. She then introduced Cindy McCain, who talked about relief efforts for those displaced or who sustained damage from the storm.
Official business was limited to just the things that are mandated by law.
It's expected that things will be scaled back a little tomorrow, but there should be a program that is gets things going so that we can go full speed ahead Wednesday forward.
The official word on Tuesday's events is scheduled to be released during a conference call at 10 am Tuesday.
