The following email is one from a gentleman I know in Israel who must remain unnamed for various reasons surrounding his ability to remain in the country. I got this just about a year ago now. What's changed in that year? Apparently not very much. - Boaz

THE POLITICS OF SURENDER

The political situation in Israel has been tense to say the least. The president is under investigation for improper conduct in office with two women. But then so was the newly appointed head of the Supreme Court. The head of the IDF that was appointed by Omert, was found to have been given two hours notice that the Hezbollah was going to start the war. Instead of spending the time preparing the army, he spent the two hours shifting funds with his stockbroker. The Prime Minister who is over this left-wing nightmare, is under investigation for accepting a $400,000 bribe. These are the guys that held the reigns on the IDF while they shelled Israel for weeks, then surrendered to a UN treaty that is an unconditional defeat for Israel.

To say the people here are angry is an understatement. The UN has announced that they will NOT try to disarm the Hezbollah. In fact the Hezbollah are stripping their bunkers and moving the weapons into Palestinian refugee camps, the ones the UN runs. Syria has insisted that the UN forces stay off of its border and the UN did not raise a peep of protest. Now Syria can now re-arm the Hezbollah at will. The UN even announced that the UN troops do not have the right to use weapons if they confront the Hezbollah, who are now claiming a victory.

The bulk of the "International Force" that will be on the border of Israel is made up of countries that officially refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist. So in the end, the only thing the treaty, spearheaded by the US and France has done, is to move in 10,000 troops to reinforce the Iranian proxy army.

Germany is doing some real soul searching with their UN soldiers being on the other side of a battle with the Jews once again. They are talking about only sending non combat personnel to keep from having to be in a position of killing Jews once again. Everyone here thinks this is not a cease fire, but a time for the Hezbollah to re-arm and re-group. Then the war will start again, only worse. Iran started this war, and got its wish—the time to finish its nuclear program. Iran has not just built a reactor for power; it has built over twenty facilities for the mass production of nuclear weapons. (the idea of Iran having quit their nuclear weapons program was floated today by the current Liberal NIE report, what a crock - the most truthful statement in the entire report was the single sentence - "We do not know whether (Iran) currently intends to develop nuclear weapons."DUH! They've (Iran) already said so many times they want to wipe Israel off the map, they don't even say the whole thing anymore, it's just mantra number 235 and all the arabs know what 's being said!

Because the Hezbollah is officially a part of the Lebanese Government, the act of the Hezbollah was an official act of war by Lebanon against Israel. Israel hit their infrastructure to try and press home the point that their thin attempt at deniability has a steep cost. But unfortunately America is going to pay to repair the damages to Lebanon so that they can get off scot-free. So once again our tax dollars are used to protect the aggressor, but I hear nothing about helping Israel rebuild their shattered cities that have been shelled for months.

There are many calls of ‘no confidence’ in this government, but I suspect that the ones in charge will not go out quietly. They have already replace the supreme court head with another political appointment instead of using more qualified personnel causing many calls of cronyism.

The security issues which began to boil over last year have gotten no better, they have in many aspects gotten much worse! Olmert is still running the show and choosing to surrender land at the behest of the United States and his cronies who are only interested in the next stock market uptick, crash or "adjustment" (having the inside information, they make money when it goes up, down or sideways).

"More Land For Peace" is the rallying cry of Olmert and his stooges. It very seriously reminds me of a line from the Monty Python And The Holy Grail movie "Bring out your dead, bring out your dead"

The government of Israel seems to be trying hard to bring ruination down on a ation which was founded on the land which according to Jewish and Christian belief was given to Israel by God the Father , the creator of the Universe. Land which was to NEVER be given away, at all, not a smidgen, or a speck of it was to be returned to the various TRIBES which lived there.

Note that the NATION of Israel took land from tribes, not other nations. There has never been at any time in history a NATION named palestine. The various tribes werre conquered by Israel and their land was known as Israel. Period.

When the "palestinians" cry and moan about the loss of their nation, they are only parroting the hew and cry from the Old Media vultures in New York, London, and Paris. How quaint of the liberal media bias to forget that the land being fought over now, was once the NATION of Israel. How insufferably ignorant of Olmert and his cronies to believe they can get away with giving away land which does not belong to them. The land they are attempting to give away was promised by God Himself, not just a temproary lease, but forever!

So what is the buzz from Condi Rice and Olmert today?
Condi wants economic opportunities for the 'palestinians'. As if perhaps a a Hamas Homicide bomber has a view towards his 401K and where to retire to when he's another week or two older?

The other piece of what Condi has been working on is a joint venture with our tax dollars and the assisatance of the Aspen Institute which is focused on: support for existing Palestinian businesses, creating jobs, and training for 'palestinians'.

The reality of life though is one thing and one thing only for 'palestinians' Israel took their land and now with the help of all of the other arab nations plus the United States (the Great Satan) it's payback time. Time for the Jews to be driven into the sea, without a lifeboat or even floatie to hang on to.

AND if by some chance any of the Jews manage to survive, to then track them down and finish the job wherever they might be.

Let he (or she) who has ears hear, when the arabs are done with Israel, they will have more time to devote to "The Great Satran" and all of the Jews who live here.

Hamas , Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc. etc... will be waiting for the chance to deliver a deadly blow at the United States and there is no amount of Liberal Whining which will prevent them from carrying out whatever their plans might be.

The moozlum arabs understand only one force, brute force. There is the possibility of a lasting peace in the Middle East, but that will come only when the last moozlum on the planet is buried under the rubble of the last mosque on the face of this planet.
