Cyber Pastor's Daily Deciblez!!!
I'm not too big into the Halloween stuff (I'm not against kids going out and getting candy), so I will just move right on past the Halloween festivities to some good news!
The fact that people are now speaking up loud and clear when our religious beliefs are being trampled on is, in part, a direct result of the new media getting information into the hands of the people quickly and before it's old news.
The news that the directives involving the flag-folding and the removal of a reference to God from a display at the Washington Monument have been "fixed" is in fact "Great News". It gives me great hope that those who believe in the God of the Bible, and the God of our Founding Fathers are not going to stand for our beliefs to be stomped on any longer!
I think I will close today's Daily Deciblez!!! with a prayer:
Father, thank you for Your awesome goodness! Please forgive our country for the times that we, as a nation, have turned our backs on you or stood silently by while others did so. Help us to continue to have the courage it takes to Do The Right Thing in all things, but especially when it comes to proclaiming You as Lord of our lives. In the Holy Name of Jesus! Amen.
