Israel - America's Greatest Ally; Part 3

This is Part 3 in the series. The intent of the series is not to make the reader pity the Jews but to help you understand the perils they face now and why the “Land for Peace” is not a workable solution. It never has been.

Be prepared to spend some time reading the links.

The history of the Jewish people (Another name for the Children of Israel. It is a reference to the Jews as a nation in the classical sense, meaning a group of people with a shared history and a sense of a group identity rather than a territorial and political entity.) begins with Abraham, and the story of Abraham begins when G-d (God) tells him to leave his homeland, promising Abraham and his descendants a new home in the land of Canaan. (Gen.12). This is the land now known as Israel, named after Abraham's grandson, whose descendants are the Jewish people. The land is often referred to as the Promised Land because of G-d’s repeated promise (Gen. 12:7, 13:15, 15:18, 17:8) to give the land to the descendants of Abraham.

As you can see on the map Israel is indeed a tiny nation surrounded by Arab countries determined to see her “wiped off the face of the earth”.

For you see it is not the land the Arabs seek, it is the obliteration of the Jewish people that is their ultimate goal.

A brief history of the land is in order. For a detailed study of this please visit Palestine Facts web page.

There are many in the world that, for whatever reasons they can conjure up, believe the Israeli’s have no right to the land they inhabit. They believe that it should be given to the Palestinians and then the conflict would end.

Since the takeover of Gaza by Palestinians we have witnessed two rival terrorist gangs idea of self-rule.

Do they sit down with other Palestinians and discuss terms? Do they peacefully settle disagreements and sing kumbaya’s?

NO! What we see are two terrorist groups doing…..well…what terrorist thugs do. Namely kill people while chanting Allahu Akbar.

And while these thugs are busy killing each other who do you suppose is suffering? Could it be the Arabs living in Palestine? The so called Palestinians?

Who are the Palestinians?
Good question. Unfortunately it cannot be answered in a few sentences or even several paragraphs. Therefore I have listed the following links that will provide the answers you seek.
